It was a great fight to watch I thought.

Watt annoyed me as he always does though. He was basically describing it as if Froch was coasting the entire fight and it wasn't like that at all.

Reid was throwing bombs and Froch was getting way too careless in there. He kept adjusting his shorts and dropping his hands and got caught out big time in the 4th round I believe.

Although Watt didn't make anything of it I actually thought Froch looked gone for a while. He came out very tentatively in the 5th and seemed to be unsteady on his feet to me.

If Reid was 10 years younger I reckon he could have won that fight and I'm one of Froch's biggest fans.

Great fighter but he hangs his chin out too much and nearly paid the price tonight.

Dammit...you make it sound like a much better fight than it sounded...& that aint no offense to Rhun.

As much as I don't dig on Froch...I really want to see this fight now. I have only seen Reid a few times...& for some reason...I always thought that he was exciting...don't matter now...seeing as how he's done...but if he put up a good fight against Froch...I WANNA SEE IT.

:cooclick: back Wack, just go and download it from WBVA that's where I got it from.

I thought it was a really entertaining fight, probably less so if you already know the result beforehand but after the fourth round I really felt Froch was in trouble. He kept rubbing his leg as well and had been off for 7 months with a knee injury so I was thinking he'd maybe dislocated his knee or something.

Shame Reid quit as it was really starting to get interesting.

Ried took a dive, the knockdowns were bullshit and he was fine to carry on, he was paid IMO sadly.

Glad someone else picked up on it too
Reid looked scared as soon as he got in the ring and he did get into fight mode a little after a few rounds but just melted shortly afterwards.
Froch did look controlled but i admit he is so open to a right hand at times it's unreal.
He did show a good chin for me though but Reid just didn't turn up and was clearly after a payday and profile boost
Calzaghe won't go near him so i'd like to see Froch in with Kessler at some point after Joe relinquishes those 4 belts.
Maybe a tune up for Carl and then who knows
One thing i do know is that JC would toy with Froch

Any one see Froch blatantly put both knees into Reids head after the first KO?
He can be dirty at times Froch and i remember when he dropped Magee heavily in the 11th then dragged his foot across his throat (forcing his head up at a nasty angle) while he lay in a heap underneath him.
    NO NEED CARL
That final KO shook Reids bones bigtime.
    He really can bang Froch!!

Reid wasn't scared, he just wanted a pay day and imo got a backhander too..

ow can a former world champion at 36 who knows he wont win a world belt again get up for a fight for the longsdale belt? there was nothing in this for reid apart form money.

Another tune up for froch? he has had 22 already.
