I am a proud Cotto fan tonight.

I have followed Cotto since day one & up until this year...I had never had doubts...but Cotto far surpassed any expectations that I have ever had of him.

Truely...I really didn't think that he could handle Shane...& in the end...I will probably be shocked over this win for days...weeks.

I have no issues with admitting that I was wrong...especially seeing that I get more out of being wrong than I do being right this time.

Now...as far as arguing about numbers & what not...unless you are deaf & blind...you can't argue with the facts.

    Cotto won.
    Mosley lost.

Shane confirmed it verbally & if you looked at Mosley...it was all over his face.

Much respect to Cotto...just don't fight Floyd.

    That's all I want.

at 147 other then PBF, I really don't see who could stop Cotto.

I have to get this off my chest. I just do cause I didn't really do this when BCD became champ and I really didn't do it when Kess became champ.

I've been defending & preaching the Cotto bible for years now (5) to be more exact. It feels good to be following a fighter and supporting a fighter from his beginings. I remember sitting around the house friday nights when his fights we're being shown on Solo Boxeo the kid was just 9-0 and already I was a fan. It just feels good to see him come along all this way.

CC,it feels great to support a fighter from the beginning and see him blossom doesn't it? I hope my boy Linares manages to do this too. As for Cotto, never bet against this guy. Mayweather would cause him problems, but only with his movement.

I hope I am, I hope I am Lefty. Nothing would make me happier than having to listen to you rub it in if Hatton wins, plus giving you 50cc's. You won't hear me crying.

    Fenster - Decision
El Gamo - Decision, but with a possible 3rd round KO
    Danny G - KO by 9
    taansend - Decision
    Mike_Tha_Man - TKO 11
    The Rookie Fan - Decision
    Sweatpea - KO by 11
    CutMeMick - KO by 11
    bzkfn - KO by 9
    leftylee - Decision
    Belak - KO by 8
    SalTheButcher - KO
    hackey100 - KO by 9
    The Third Man - Decision

And still the WBA Welter Weight Champion of world.
    Miguel (Low Blows King) Cotto

I wonder where that chump FronzenDummy is? He said Shane was going to knock Cotto out.

Not by the hair on my chinny, chin, chin.
BTW, FrozenDummy, There is no way in hell Floyd could put a dent in Cotto

Danny, based on your reasoning, Floyd Mayweather is a chump too because he predicted Shane would KO Cotto after the first power punch (or was that Roger who said that?)

Hey, there were too many CHUMPS on the Mosley bandwagon. Even fat azz Vargas said Shane was going to knock out Cotto in the first. LOL

Like I said before, there are a lot of people who are going to get this wrong and they did.
If Floyd said that, I know he is afraid of Cotto now. He claims he is the all knowing of this sport? He thinks he is the shiet that don't stink but when Cotto stomps him, the smell will come out of Floyd just like the rest of his fast super speed opponents that were posed to beat Cotto. Not even Floyds track shoes or shoulder roll will help him. Can you feel the tention? Floyd has not even got past Hatton yet and his fans are trembling because of Cotto.

I have to agree with Danny. ALOT of people made out that Migule was a class below Shane,a step below, heck even Hatton aid Cotto would lose because he's "too crude and does not have enough variation" or something along those lines. Ironic, because those are the 2 reasons he won't beat Floyd.

As for Floyd,he has another fighter to beat, but someone MUCH MUCH tougher than ANYONE he has faced for a LONG time. Someone young,in their prime, and monstrous at 147,who is NOT coming off a loss,NOT old,and NOT fighting at 147 for only the second time, having scraped a W in his only other fight at WW.

You know what impressed me most about Cotto is the fact he is improving...he is not just a come in and hope his power gets him through guy....he is learning that somtimes you need to back off a bit make sure you do not get over zelous....and he will keep getting better....IMO Cotto's future is going no where but up
I do not know about Cotto "improving." He's always had the ability to adjust in fights and that's what separated him from most up and comers who never have a plan b if one is necessary. Cotto has always had that jab, and when he abandons it (see Corley and Torres) he has problems. Cotto has always had the ability to box and "backed off a bit" against N'dou and Abdullaev. So maybe Cotto is "learning" to start everthing with the jab, if anything. The KO will come, but the jab will make it come.

IMO he is getting better....Even if it means knowing when to back off and when to work off the jab,,,it means he is using his head more and that will only help him in the future....It is good to see a guy with power like Cotto box more....How many times in the past have we seen decent boxers with power forget how to use the basics and rely on power only?......just to have it backfire
