It is reported on the site we can't post about that Arum stressed that Marquez has been very reasonable in the negotiations as he agreed to make concessions on his purse and even go up in weight to fight Pacquiao.

It's on boxing scene.com. It would appear it's either JMM or David Diaz. Guzman, Valero & Juan aren't being considered.

It crossed my mind yesterday that the reason that Pc is fighting David Diaz is to establish himself as a Lw and then lure Marquez even farther from his starting weight.

Anybody else feel it would be advantageous in all kinds of ways for the rematch to occur at LW for a Title?

Not really. The last fight was at Feather, so Super-Feather is fine. Plus if Pac moves up, he'll never come back down.

Coming from the guy who's been dangling his own boy Diaz as a bargaining chip, I think this whole issue should be cleared up in the coming days. Let's just wait and see.
