"OK,Ive given the fans a show, what round did I say I was gonna end it in?" and the fight would end ,with somebody lying on his back, and it wasnt Ali.
Not to mention the multiple weight class argument, riddle me this batman, what weight class did Ali win his gold at?
    Lightheavyweight.
Interesting, guess Ali could fight in two different divisions, huh?
Ali was below 200s pounds in his early career i believe if there was Cruiserweight division back then he would of been amazing.
    He was amazing
A heavyweight who could hit like a heavy, but move like a middleweight,he was 1 of a kind,he moved better then any heavy Ive ever seen, and he could still spark a guy on one punch if he got bored with the fight.

Just to kind of clear up an arguement or two without quoting peoples threads....

I for one Can Not Stand to Watch Mayweather On TV Unless he is fighting...If he is in an interview I either change the channel or take a bathroom break....He is arrogant, self serving, ignorant in many of the comments he makes and just flat out unappealing as a person in front of the camera

    With that being said....

As a fighter you can not deny the skill he has or the fact he currently sits on top of the P4P rankings....To do so shows ignorance....He accomplishments speak for themselves....

It seems around here as of late especially...and when it concerns either Calzaghe, PBF or Hatton people lose touch on facts....

If someone does not like one of these guys their fans start throwing tantrums like 3 year olds who can't have candy....90% of the time they do not even put forth a good arguement to back up why their guy is best they just start with the stupid comments and BABY ASS SHIT!!!!

The same goes for those who dislike any of these fighters 90% of the time there is no reason included other then maybe a "He is Over Rated" or "He acts like an ass".....But nothing valid to back up their claims....Again BABY ASS BULLSHIT!!

You don't have to like a fighter...I mean hey that is why sports are fun in general we all root for our favorites....But to just come out with no real explanaition other then "He is an ******** He will get knocked out"....is not a debate and takes away any valid points you have....

Same goes for those who support their fighters...Just because someone criticizes them there is no need for the "Yeah well he beat so and so so you are a *******" Now go ****** yourself I am going to get naked and beat off to my guys picture......

Give an arguement back up your case....if your not prepared to do so then let it go...

Everyone is not going to like the same guy no matter what.... but again this is sports and rivalry makes it enjoyable.....

I swear in the last month this has gotten out of control.....I can go through the archives and quote a 1000 post with this stuff...

This is supposed to be the Saddo Forums...there is a reason we are #1 and this JR Highschool crap is not it!!!......

I remember when we all used to be able to have debates and bust on each others guys in good fun but back up our sarcasim...now I have to be honest it isn't so fun anymore

Just my 2 cents ...you guys can Sc away if you want but facts are facts

You could make a case Ali fought in 3 different divisions,he wins a gold at Light Heavy, turns pro and wins when Heavys were a little lighter, then when he comes back from his supension,Heavys get heavier,so he bulks up,and still wins

Could you be anymore of a blatant Mayweather hater thats alright fanboys like you will be gone come Dec 9th so its just another couple of weeks of the annoying chirpings.

I mean really the minute you call Castillo(which he was) you guys get your panties in a twist, or he looked shiit against Urango which he only had less than 18 pro fights which is after the fact he ran back to 140 cause him and his camp knew he didnt have what it takes to play with the big guys at 147 since he narrowly escaped that Collazzo fight. Which poor Luis is still waiting for that re-match he was promised by Hatton on worldwide television.

Please LeftyLee lets here the Myriad of BS excuses your gonna make for your little hero.

He only had a few weeks to prepare for Collazzo- 7 weeks

he had a bad cold against Urango

He looked like a juggernaut against Castillo. Yea the same Castillo that Herman Nougojo exposed as being shot on the Hatton Urango undercard. Yea you remember Castillo was lethargic flat and unenergetic with no power on his punches.

Come on man lets hear your clever insight!
I'll Reply later with my view on Ricky Hatton with pleasure JT but I'm upto my heels with this shitty English A-Level essay due in on Monday at the moment.

In fact here it goes but I'll add more later:

    Collazo a southpaw
Knocked him down and won UD on all 3 cards.
Not even PBF became a world champ on his first step up to welter.
Ricky said he would only accept rematch if terms were right (Just looked up this minute in his book)

    Urango:

Iron twin easily, hard to break a man like him down.
Lost only one round in the process (119-109 on all 3 scorecards) (Didn't Jeff Lacy only have 21 against JC)
Performed badly but still won 11 rounds, what does that say??

    Castillo:

Watch 3rd round, castillo won easily
past his best but not shot still seen parts of the old Castillo against Herman and against Ricky...
No jr-welter would have gotton up from that bodyshot.

AND THE ONLY PEOPLE THAT WILL BE LAUGHING IS ME AND BZKFN AT PEOPLE LIKE YOU WHO THINKS FLOYD WILL WIN. PLEASE GIVE ME A BREAK I'm not going nowhere mate, you and Legion will be going with the abuse your gonna get 2 weeks tomorrow and I can't friggin wait.

    Back to shithouse English essay.

    Mr 140,

You can feel however you want to.

I was asking HOW/WHY you can "hate" somebody that you see on TV for a few minutes at a time. That seemed strange to me.

I don't understand why you come across as hating Hatton so much; he's doing what he's supposed to and getting in with the recognized best P4P fighter in the world right now. Ricky like alot of people has expressed his displeasure of Floyd and the size of his ego, but he's the 1st to say Floyd's the best fighter and exhibits beautiful skill in the ring, all the time while Floyd calls him a d-class journeyman. JT Rock, one day you say Hatton embodies all that is good with the sport of boxing and acknowledge his craft, the next you're acting like he has taken something from you. If Hatton didn't fight Floyd you'd be calling him a coward.

Thats total nonsense, i would never call Hatton a coward.

Here is the deal I like Hatton alot I think he is a fine man, but I am a Floyd fan 1st and foremost. All I am doing is telling it like it is. The things I had mentioned are events that happened. I apprciate all the things Hatton has accompolished but he is fighting the finest damn prescion fighter in the world and being a nice guy, good dart and pool playing partner and drinking buddy aint gonna get it done, it makes for good theatre the good guy bad guy and the fans of each fighter arguing how there man will conquer the other. We are all doing are part in this fight.

No ill will toward either of you. You guys have done your fair share of Mayweather bashing till the cows come home. If your gonna dish it out your gonna have to take it and be a good sport its all good fun

CC back JT Rock, and my apologies for presuming you would label Hatton a coward when I had no right to put words in your mouth. I don't think I've ever bashed Floyd for the greatness he exhibits. I can't stand listening to him blabber, but I'm sure he couldn't listen to me either, and he's getting paid alot more to talk than I do I do bash Ellerbe though as I don't even listen to somebody who bashes a fighter like Hatton{elite fighter or not} who himself doesn't fight. Both fighters are favorites of mine, and Floyd will beat Hatton IMO, but I'm pulling for the humble guy this time around. Peace JT

Mayweather said that Hatton punches and holds, punches and holds. I wonder if that is better than punching and running, punching and running.

Floyd Mayweather has stepped up his war of words with Ricky Hatton by claiming to be the greatest boxer ever.
The unbeaten American welterweight insists he is even better than legends Sugar Ray Robinson and Muhammad Ali.

The 30-year-old, who fights Hatton in Las Vegas on 8 December, said: "I can quit today and be known as the best fighter that ever lived.

"I respect what Robinson and Ali did for the sport. But I am the greatest, and this is my time."

Hatton, who has held world titles at both welterweight and light-welterweight, is also undefeated and lists Jose Luis Castillo and Kostya Tszyu as his most notable victims.

Mayweather isn't even close to the greatest of all time. That is all in his head

But Mayweather, who has beaten the likes of Castillo, Oscar de la Hoya, DeMarcus Corley, Zab Judah and Sharmba Mitchell, has dismissed the Briton as "dirty" and one-dimensional.

"I didn't get the chance to watch him against Kostya Tszyu," said Mayweather.

"I already knew what it was - punch, hold, punch, hold. From what I've seen, it was extremely dirty.

"And that's what I'm saying - that Ricky Hatton is a very dirty fighter."
This dumb ass.... (not you BubbleBox)
I remember when I heared him say that on ESPN I fell off my bed...
IMO he's a long the lines of Pernell, Hagler, SRL, Duran, Lopez. But he would neeed to pull of some fucken amazing stuff before he even comes close to the likes of SRR or Ali.
The sad part about it is that their is some idiot out there whos actually buying into this.
