And he said he weighed 156 and then came in at 164, same weight as Vargas. Mayorga is a bullshatter. I didnt side with Vargas, I picked him in a casual kind of way nothing substantial like I was a fan of his. Mayorga won congrats to him. Mayorga has a 0 defense and if Vargas had any snap on his punches he would had him out of there like Tito and DLH did. I understand his right hand is like a mule kick and he makes for good theatre, but he will never be considered a legitimate threat to anyone who is ranked in the top 10 anymore.

Mayorga fought Vargas at a higher weight then both Trinidad and Oscar and he wasnt knocked out. And Vargas was the naturally bigger guy and Mayorga went in there and looked stronger then him.

I beg to differ....Mayorga is always a threat especially at 147.....Anyone knows that a fighter with the punching power of Mayorga is always a threat.....If not on anything just that fact alone.....Plus he has a solid chin....He has taken big shots from big punchers and he has never been stopped in a single punch or even a flurry....

A master boxer Mayorga will never be we all know that but if he can stay calm during fights like last night and not get overly reckless with his punches...and does not do that stupid ass hands behind the back go ahead hit me routine of his....Mayorga should be taken very serious....The guy is dangerous!

Again he is not in any way a top caliber boxer but a threat to anyone while he is standing
