Saying Clazaghe has more boxing skill than Hatton is like saying Hatton has way better work rate and come forward style !!!!!
Wot im saying is they fight totally differently so yes Calzaghe is more boxer - Hatton is more aggrasive thats kinda ovious to everyone mate.
If Hatton keeps winning big fights he will be regarded as the best , but at the moment i say Calzaghe , but only just . Hell no i got em tided because Hatton has fought more top fighters than Calzaghe

I'll repeat what Daxx had said: If Hatton beats Mayweather then he's the best British fighter for me. What's wrong with that ICB?

Hatton for me not only has to beat Mayweather but continue to be a dominant champion (at 140). Im talking a few more fights.

Maybe, or possibly a Harrison - Audley or Scott - they're on a par right now.

Even if Hatton beat PBf i think if you look at the overall career of both Calzaghe has beaten the better guys over all.

Yes, well Audley told me he was the best...
In fact he said he was thee greatest boxer of all time, at any weight,
    I'm inclined to believe him.

I see what you mean but Calzaghe can fight in a manner of different styles and adjust...Hatton does just that come forward aggressive style...which obviously works well for him...But ultimately could prove to be his downfall.

It all depends on his next fight and what comes after that to see if it will really destroy him or not wait and see.

    Totally agree cc.
Depends how you define skill. Personally I think you can't seperate them, generally both haven't looked like being beaten, the question of who is the best will be answered if and when one of them loses that 0. It's impossible to know just how good (or bad) a fighter is until they've been beaten.

Have to disagree Calzaghe is certainly better skilled fighter he uses angles, combinations ect. Hatton is good at what he does no question but P4P Calzaghe is better skill wise.

    I agree with Ice .

P4P if Calzaghe and Hatton fought i would put my house on Calzaghe...as far as resumes go Ricky has beaten "great" fighters Calzaghe hasn't, he's been a dominant "great" champion.

BUT If Ricky beats Floyd, Calzaghe will be worthy to support him as chief undercard fight.
