CC and I'd add RJJ and Ali.
Ali had skill, it's just he did things totally opposite of what your supposed to do. Like leaning back from punches. Or having his hands down. Dancing in every round. Those aren't bad at all. It worked 95% of the time. Leaning back did hurt him in the Fraizer fights, because he leaned into the path of the Left Hook of the best Left Hooker in the game.

But the most lacking of Ali's repertoire was he rarely when to the body.

    To me, he's The Greatest.

Well we will leave Ray Robinson out of this because that guy could do anything,,,
I would have to say, Meldrick Taylor, Pernell, Leonard, Mosley, Floyd, Hagler could do all of it too

Why is it hard to understand the difference between skill and physical gift. RJJ had physical gifts but he was never overly skilled.

Willie Pep,to thinkthat he boxed, at the level he did, after the plane crash.Doctors didnt give much chance of him walking again, let alone boxing again,to me was incredible. His skills were wonderous, plus he never had a big punch,to get outa jail.
