Nady has messed up far more than that Judah fight. Look at both Hopkins Vs Taylor fights and see how he let Hopkins hit and hold, take cheap shots when he was telling them to break and when Taylor hit him back he was warned right away. He did it so many times I lost count. He is the worst. Again, who could forget the Judah fight. After a guy works his way up the ranks all the way to a title fight, he deserves at least an 8 count. If he didn't look good after 8, stop it, but you gotta give the man his 8. I also believe that if he was in better shape, he would have stopped Floyd between the 8th and 10th round. He was dominating early and people are acting like he's a bum.

There was no standing 8 count in that fight ,if so Nady would have applied it. Richard steele is a crooked son of a bitch, who's in Don King's pocket. Someone mentioned Chavez/Tayor and especially Tyson/Ruddock, Ruddock was clearly able to continue, but steele and Don King thought he had the power to ko tyson so they stopped it first chance they got.

He's one of the reasons RJJ was able to beat Ruiz (other reasons: huge ring, RJJ is a fast SOB)...he keeps guys from holding a lot more than other refs

Actually it's the opposite. OTHER referees are the reasons John Ruiz was able to WIN so much. Because they DIDN'T keep him from excessive holding, which by itself is illegal and can result in being disqualified. If anything, Nady's one of the few refs that actually REFS correctly.

he said he promised his ref jersey to a fan who was going to pay him a $100bucks for it for tyson vs hoylfield II. then the infamous ear biting took place and the jersey became worth thousands, but he still kept his word and gave it to the man for only $100.

OMG, I can't believe I forgot about that guy. I'm a Cotto fan and I think he was on his way to a KO anyway but, that's why they fight the fight. He was totally biased and he didn't even speak english. Corley didn't know what the hell the guy was saying and vice versa. Good call remembering what might be the worst ref of all time.

Cotto should have given him an immediate rematch if for nothing else than to really whip his ass...hell of a shot he took though, I was shocked

Actually it wasn't so much as Taylor didn't respond as much as he was fucking distracted by his assinine corner shouting instructions to him and he was looking back and forth their way during the count and getting up process. I saw the fight and his corner more or less sealed his fate. Like hollering to him to cover up was needed? Duh. But still Steele sucks.
