Micky Ward-Reggie Green was a good one.
More recently Terry Smith-Kelvin Davis was a great fight.
ESPN does have the best fights hands down imo. I miss the tuesday night fights.

    nice topic, CC

I was trying to think of one that hadn't been mentioned, was thinking Ward-Green but BoomBoom beat me to it.

Ward-Burton is one of my favorite fights ever, on any network. Its funny how similar the ninth and tenth rounds of that fight were to the same rounds in Ward-Gatti, maybe not quite as exciting but still great stuff. Ward beat the hell out of Gatti in the ninth but Gatti came back to outwork him in the tenth. Ward dropped Burton in the ninth with a left hook to the body but Burton outworked him in the tenth. Great infighting in that fight.

So I thought we should list the BEST/GREATEST fights ever aired "originally" by ESPN.
(Not counting Classics that are re-aired and or anything else aired by them that was not an original ESPN fight)

Heres some that come to mind.

    1. William Lee vs. John LoCicero
    2. Micky Ward vs. Emmanuel Augustus
    3. Sakio Bika vs. Jaidon Codrington
    4. Julio C. Gonzalez vs. Julian Letterlough
    5. Willie Gibbs vs. Daniel Edouard
    6. Jason Litzau vs. John Nolasco
    7. Pernell Whitaker vs. Diosbelys Hurtado
I thought Hurtado vs Whitaker aired on HBO ??
