i agree, he just dissapeared after that one
HAHAHHA its great to see that again, poor old Ruiz!
Might be my fav KO of all-time. It's a shame that Tua can destroy people like Ruiz and Moorer, but lose to Byrd. I wonder if Tua and Zab hang out. Neither one has any true determination for the sport.
Never get tire of seeing that knock out.
Tua didn't give up for two years, his management team (Kevin Barry, Olympic Silver medallist who beat Evander Holyfield in the Olympics) had been ripping him off and he wanted to sack them but they tied him up in red tape and he couldn't get rid of them without going to court and it got very ugly.
Naturally Tua was disillusioned by this and I think it has affected his enthusiasm for destruction.
If he can regain his handspeed he will threaten anyone but the key is can he develop the required foot speed... I don't think so, but the Heavyweight cupboard is bare right now and if .... IF he can get it together he could really do some damage with his awesome natural power before bowing out.
That KO was just fucking scary.
I don't like Ruiz, and was happy to see him lose, but I feel for the guy. He looked like he was in a coma standing up.
