As for a fight with Oscar vs Hatton.....why the F*** would I want to watch that?
It's funny how all of a sudden everybody has abandoned Ricky Hatton
First off, many were never really sold on Ricky, especially after his fight with Collazo. Second, I don't think people have abandoned Ricky. I think they have abandoned Ricky as a force at welterweight. He's really a force at 140, where I want to see him stay.

I would have to agree VD (hey, that rhymes ). That being said, I am so sick and tired of Oscar being in the fight game, making all these millions of dollars, while fighting "safe" fights and not risking himself or producing exciting, interesting fights. I swear I won't pay for another pay per view he headlines unless its against Cotto, because in that case, I will be paying to watch Cotto.
I'll pay to watch De La Hoya massacre Hatton.
I take it you are not a Hatton fan.

Not a fight i'd want to see..either hatton would be fighting higher in weight than he should or oscar would have to come way down, leaves to big of and excuse window for whatever fighter looses.

I don't hate the boy. But seeing him get knocked out was pretty fucking cool.

    Take a look

I wouldn't mind see it happen again.

here here styles make fights and ricky is made to order for de la hoya or anyone with any skill level really. hes half dlh's size and wont be able to bully dlh if mayorga couldnt come in swinging and bully dlh then ricky has no shot ...plus mayorga has a tougher chin than ricky and dlh hits harder than floyd

dlh will spear him with the jab and crush him with a left hook and kayo him inside 3 or 4 rounds no prob

Only reason for Hatton to take the DLH fight is for $$$. Does nothing for either fighters legacy - one moving too far up in weight, the other too far down.

Would like to see Hatton move back down to 140 and clean up the division. Two good fights in Malignaggi and Witter and I would pay to see them before a fight with DLH.

Now he's lost, I think that puts Witter & Paulie in the frame as legit fights. Both are complete tossers who need to be KO'ed anyway, so he'd be performing a public service.

    Especially witter
