As much as I dislike Oscar, he is still pretty good for the sport. Anyone who steps into the ring with Oscar, get's paid and paid well. Oscar is still a very competitive opponent and he has DIE HARD FANS who will pay to watch Oscar fight anyone, even if this means Oscar is fighting a midget. Let's not forget that the midget also has a huge fan base. Oscar still has a lot of option left and I for one am torn between wanting to watch Cotto/ODLH. To be honest, I would not mind seeing Cotto get a big pay like some of the other big names in this sport.
I am not interested in seeing PBF/ODLH II, that's for sure.

Come on bro,some common sense.

It doesn't matter who went to WW first, who has beaten the better fighters at WW?Cotto. Who has shwon he has settled into the weight more?Cotto. For all intents and purposes,Hatton could very well have been 0-2 at WW,it just so happens he squeaked a W in his fight with Collazo who is at best, a top 10 WW. So I'm not really understanding ANY of your points which have 0 logic behind them.
You qouted the post so obviously something hit home with you, you keep skimming through these Hatton threads trying to convince people that Ricky can do no damage at WW and so many people think it's bullshit. Floyd beat the guy because he was a better fighter not because he was a bigger fighter AND YOU TALK ABOUT 0 LOGIC, Floyd is a very small WW it just so happens he is very talented and can deal with the jump up, you make it seem like he was fighting Paul Williams or Antonio Margarito and that he could not deal with the size differential, I simply don't know what's wrong with your brain, after debating with you on multiple occassions in the last couple of day's it's clear you are not going to get it through your skull so I will say this for the last time

    1. Who has beaten the better fighters at WW? You are telling me that Ricky Hatton can not beat Zab Judah and Hatton fighting Mosley (36) would be very competitive, just like the Cotto-Mosley fight was, so to be honest I believe this is silly question, if Hatton took that road it could very well be getting fighter of the year votes, and for the record I don't think Judah could rock Hatton like he did Cotto
    2. Cotto has looked like he settles into the weight better because he has not fought PBF, after he does that then tell me how natural he looks in the weight, I guarantee what happened to Hatton will happen to Cotto
    3. Your bias has made me defend two fighters that I am not a fan of (PBF, Hatton), I believe PBF would beat Hatton at any possible weight that the two can fight in (140 or not) so 147 had nothing to do with it, you have made Hatton losing to the best fighter in the world a shameful thing, and I believe that is immature, ignorant, and unfair/bias
    4. If it's true that Billy Graham and his father want him back at 140 it's a business decision, he can dominate 140, he will never dominate 147 as long as PBF is around, so if he has no problems making the weight you might as well stay in the division you can dominate, he has been at 140 for a while, I am pretty sure he does not have a problem filling in at 147
    5. I don't know why you have such disdain for Hatton's loss to PBF but it is highly childish and need's to stop, a loss is a loss we don't need you to bring 1,000 excuses into it

Hatton can not cut it at WW. He can't beat Judah and he can't beat Mosley. He has been chased out of the Welter Weight division TWICE and is a place he knows he does not belong. Floyd beat a blown up junior welter weight. WOW.
Sit down. Did you forget the gift Collazo fight?

Would this Boycott be similar to the 'Roycott' we saw in 2001 when fans were talking about not buying RJJ fights?

Brazlian seems you are the only one here that thinks Hatton can cut it. Ice says no, Gamo says no, Danny G says no and i am saying no. You are acting like a idiot and you complain about Danny. Hatton be competive with Mosly please don't make me laugh and if Hatton getting rocked PBF who is not a power hitter by the way at the welter weight division  what you think going to happen when Cotto, Cintron, Molsey and Margrito hit him he might die then there is Williams who would put him down probaly to. My god he got rocked and had a tough fight with Callozo a man that Molsey delt with easy and completly shot out seems like he was not even trying. Cotto is way better then Hatton is at the weight and has better wins and has a better Chance at PBF then anyone expect Williams who i think i really favor to beat Floyd. Hatton style makes him have the need to be stronger and he can not do that at welterweight so stop saying he does because i sick of hearing it Brazlian it is such a stupid thing to say. Tell you the truth i think he goes backs to the lightwelters and gets out boxed by Maggline and then has a fight with Witter then has Oscar Knock him into retirement so thats it for Hatton and he is just another good fighter that probably be forgotten in the US about 15 years from now.

IMO, the fans should not allow themselves be taken for a $60 PPV ride that we already know will NOT be compelling. For me, Hatton will have a hard enought time unifying the JuWelt division. As I see it:

Gavin Rees--his easiest opponent. He should go after he or Kotelnic to get the ball rolling.
Witter--his biggest 'at home' fight, and what a give back for the UK fans!
Malignaggi--I hate his pitty-pat punches, but he will box the socks off of Ricky. If Cotto didn't stop Paulie, no way Hatton will.
Ricardo Torres--this would be a barn burner--puncher v. brawler. My personal favorite on the list, though Witter fight would be much bigger.

If Oscar has a pair, he will fight Vernon Forrest at 154, but he knows he will lose.

    SOUND OFF!!!
HATTON is the UNDISPUTED light welterweight champion regardless of belts he holds.

To be honest BrazilianBomber,I'm not wading through all of that. You're just regurtitating the same schpeel over and over. Hatton has a chance to beat Mosley?Of course he can as evidenced by his 2 performances at WW so far That's what I mean by ZERO logic. Where is you evidence/points that he could even stand a chance with a strong WW like Shane?

You're the one looking childish when your going out of your way to make Floyd's win even bigger than it already.

Was it a good win?Yes,I was one of the first to congratulate Floyd.

    Was Hatton a threat?Yes,of sorts.

Is Hatton a proven fighter at WW and can he hang with the elites at WW?NO?!!!
