Are all injuries the same? Are their different severities that can describe levels of rotator cuff injuries? YES.
This may be a completely different debate, but to say how and what vitali should do with a legitimate injury during a fight is purely opinionated. Because to say he has no heart, but then was enraged that the fight was stopped due to a cut that could of ended his career negates itself. To say he has no heart, but wanted to fight on through that specific cut doesn't add up. Not to mention he took on the undisputed heavyweight champ of the world on 11 days notice. Yea, he's as chicken as they come
I still say no to him being a hall of famer, he hasn't earned the right, But to say he has no heart is well, an irresponsible comment to make.
Until you can prove the level of injury he suffered and williams suffered were similar, i myself do not believe anyone can question his "heart" after that last battle with Lewis.

    Oh and by the way,
Lewis punch stats were decreasing everyround while vitali's were increasing (even with the cut) vitali took lewis' hardest punch, and walked right through it. You can have your opinion about that fight, and i'll have mine. But thats all they will ever be, because lewis did not fulfill his promise to rematch Vitali and retired.

If the fight between Vitaly and Lennox would have gone any longer Vitaly would have been seriously done for not only career wise but possible handicapped in that eye for life....That was a horrible gash and it was just a good straight right away from actually going to the next level.....Blindness

Mayweather had rotator cuff injury in his toughest fight ever vs Castillo and he still fought on, Vitali was winning his fight easily and just quit he should of fought on like a real Champion should.

And Vitali was holding on for dear life at the end of 6th round so whats your point ??

and i'll have mine. But thats all they will ever be, because lewis did not fulfill his promise to rematch Vitali and retired.

Lewis was smart enough to get out of boxing when he was old he was 37 wasn't he ?? plus he still had his money, health, legacy, so it was good time to retire.

And tell me where MayweatherweatherP4P said Vitali didn't have no heart ??

Lennox would have stopped him in a couple more rounds he was cut in a bad way and they were by punches. Also he quit with a shoulder injury against Byrd he could have shown guts and heart by carrying on and winning.Danny williams did against Potter many of fighter have gone through the pain barrier and injury to win he would'nt push himself.

I agree Williams was fighting with one bloody arm, and he still fought on like a true champion and won.

vitali was dominating lennox and would have won that fight if there was no cut

    he DOMINATED chris byrd

and if lennox would have taken a rematch he would have been embarrassed

Vitaly was winnnin the first 4 rds and Lennoz was coming back in the fight...Lewis also came in out of shape...he was tired by the 4th....I doubt sincearly Vitaly would have embaressed him so get off the Klitschko love machine

    No, he wasn't
He may of had some bright moments before the fight stopped, but his jab was gone, he was throwing HALF of the punches klits was. And thats fact.

At the time of the stoppage Vitaly was leaning on Lennox Just as much as lewis was him...in truth BOTH fighters looked like S*** in that fight...it was one of the sloppiest hw bouts I have ever seen....I still stand by what I said

There is no way that he should be in there. So many people talk about the Lewis fight; where are the other fighters he has fought? He caught Lewis old and cold, and still couldn't beat him. Then again, as someone else said, Mcguigan got in, and all he did was beat an old man and then later on lose his title to a very average fighter. Apparently, Gary Mason is up next.
