...he took a beating but he also stopped trying to fight those guys.....you could tell he was a beaten fighter when Douglas withstood his barrage after the knockdown

Ive been re-watching some of their fights recently
Sorry,cant call it
Both of their biggest flaws,is both of the other guys strengths
Lewis has a tendency to let guys ride his jab,and lean on him, which Tyson needs to do in his prime
Tyson has a tendency to take shots to get in,which Lewis was great at doing to guys
Its flaw vs flaw, and strength vs strength
Who's chin holds up?Thats what it really comes down to
Then it is Tyson.![]()

THIS IS STILL GOING
Lewis![]()

Let's not forget that Tyson, post fight, is the one who said he could never beat Lennox. Pointing out that his height/reach was too much for him to handle.
But I think Tyson had lost his mind and his confidence at that point. Certainly not the same guy that was saying "I'm Jack Dempsey, I'm Sonny Liston... I want to eat your children."

"Floyd needs to inject Xylocaine into his balls to gain the courage to fight Pacquiao."
- and I quote from some random guy on the internet
The thread that continues to sucker new posters into its depths.
Lewis.![]()
"If there's a better chin in the world than Pryor's, it has to be on Mount Rushmore." -Pat Putnam.
Im a huge Tyson fan but if we are being honest it has got to be
Lewis !
Everyone is entitled to an opinion and Ice gets hot under the collar and too emotional but peak Tyson beats Lewis. Now let that be the end to this thread.![]()

Tyson loses to Lewis everytime if they fought a million times Lewis would win a million times.
I have to agree with Mr.140![]()

Mr. 140 I think you are exagerating......slightly.

McCall and Rachman must then be a billion to one chance then.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I think Prime Lewis wins over a Prime Tyson 8-10 times....maybe 7-10
sure Lennox had his "uninspired" days but 2 out of 44 fights ended in KO losses for him...Lennox had a HORRIBLE fight vs Frank Bruno but he still KO'd him
Can you say the same for Williams, Holyfield, Douglas, Lewis and even McBride in relation to Tyson though?Originally Posted by Master
