Enzo got some good body shots in so it looks like he was planing for the long haul... he just struggled with the power.

you can see Joe standing ringside when the ref called it off and he looked abit gutted.

i have always had favs that lose as a fan but it gets you thinking just how hard it must be for freinds and family to see it.

Poor old Enzo. I waited till they were in the ring to see who was the most relaxed and focused before deciding who to pick for the win. Haye walks in the personification of coolness. Enzo sprints into the ring when he gets close to it and starts bouncing about nervously. He's got a haircut that must have been done by Stevie Wonder and he looks anything but calm but I just couldn't back against him, bless him. He was totally outclassed, suffered a comical knockout and really didn't help his career any, did he? Never mind, plenty of belts to fight for when Haye gives them up. He can have an easy fight next then fight for a belt again.

Enzo himself said he fought a poor fight so he could not have been unlucky. I believe he is embarrassed about the performance.

I think that was fairly predictable beforehand.. not the shitty haircut bit.

People were not realising this was the BIGGEST fight Enzo will EVER be involved in.. Haye was always treating the fight as a stopover steering job.

It was the biggest-ever fight for both of them but Haye handled it far better. It might have been the other way round but wasn't.

    The haircut was dreadful though.

He'd also be getting hit harder.

Yes Jim - it don't matter how hard they hit if they aint hitting nothing to quote the Greatest.

I remember Tyrell Biggs throwing a perfect right hook at Tyson (text book perfect in the replays !) that if it had connected would have maybe sent him down for a count. Unfortunately Tyson was two seconds out of the way by the time it arrived - you can't say its unlucky mate if he missed a punch ! Skill lands them .

As it happens I was always a bit skeptical of Haye but now I think that maybe us Brits have something to be excited about in heavyweight terms though I guess its cos how weak that division is at moment. Is Klitschko too big though ? Does he need to take out Audley first How good is he we will see.

But yes am defo now a fan and will be fully behind him and on the edge when he is in the ring as I did /do with Benn , Lewis and Hatton.

    Happy days

Bit pissed off to bed ...farewell...

Really gutted for Macca, but I feel his reaction, although displaying utter disgust at his own performance, illustrated that of a man itching to get back on track.

I think it was Haye been more of balance than stagered he wasnt hurt. Enzo didnt seem to know what to do when he got hurt when he got hurt he should of gone down, then when he did go down from the second shot he got up straight away to find he had no legs. Not saying if he stopped down till the 8th count he would of been ok but it would of given him more of a chance to recover.

I accept and realise that Enzo didn't know what to do when he got hurt. But there are very few who would know what to do if they were clipped by a punch Macca was.
