Well you know people have been trying to land that hard shot on Wladimer since Peter did and they havent even gotten close and what makes you think Haye would even get around Wladimer's jab? Seriously once Haye throws his right hand Wladimer will move into a hold so that it hits him in the back so the ref splits them up. You'd be waiting for Haye to land something all night and it won't happen. Repeat of the Tua Lewis fight if Haye can take any right hands Wladimer throws.
Wlad hasnt fought a Lights out puncher since Peter so thats that.. Haye has a lot more speed than Tua as well as pure athleticism, and to mention Lewis and Klitschko in the same sentence is comical... Lewis had 10x more than Klit as well as heart

    I agree 100%.
Although to even talk about a fight between these two yet borders on lunacy...

Haye is far from a slow, ploding fighter that Wlad is used to fighting...

Wlad's jab is a great weapon and when his right lands... If will hurt anyone in the divsion if not KO them if hit with semi-regularity...

Wlad would have about 5 inches in reach but speed kills and would negate most of that. Being that Haye has just over an 80 inch reach he will land. Sultan gave up, ehat? Like 10 inches in reach?

It would be a fun afair to watch cuz someone would get KOd...

Can't see why a 3 belt holder at Crusierweight gets dissed for calling out the No.1 Heavyweight? What's that about.

A fighter shows ambition and confidence in his own ability but still some don't like it.

Maybe their worried that there boy will get sparked once again.

I would love to see Haye get his chance to fight Wlad.. But I can't see him winning aside from giving him a small punchers chance.. Whoever said if Wlad can't KO a fat plodder like Sultan he won't do Haye should really rethink that imo.. Look at the way Sultan fought Wlad, he was backing up using the ring and trying to counter the entire time, and never got past the jab. What's to suggest that Haye would addopt a similar tactic, especially being an even smaller man with a questionable beard and stamina? I think people are severly underrating how accurate Wlad's jab is, as well as the effect even it would have on Haye's jaw. Hayes only chance imo would be to go out and try to bumrush Wlad early, but even in doing that he'd give Wlad an oppourtunity to open up. He'd also have to risk getting caught on the way in. I could actually see it being a good fight should Haye be succesful in an early assault.. But if he even considers waiting for his spot and lets Wlad get going, I don't think he'll fair well at all. Still perhaps the most exciting potential HW fight going though. I don't think Peter will do any better against Wlad, I really disagree that he's a much improved fighter.. Maybe slightly, but he's still very average in most departments imo. Wlad also should be a lot more confident if they fight again as he shook off a lot of cobwebs over the 12 when they fought and only realized late that he could hurt Peter easily.

And Haye doesn't have the chin of Tua. And Haye would be looking to land the haymaker right hand all night, Wladimer may not be a Lennox but that doesnt mean the same kind of strategy won't and can't be used. Wladimer's jab would cause Haye a lot of trouble. After rewatching the match with Haye and Enzo he looks open for left hooks. Wladimer does have more then a right hand he has a very good left hook.

Don't underestimate Wladimer because he isnt entertaining and overestimate Haye because he is entertaining. Wladimer would beat Haye and more then likely stop him.

And you're right Wladimer hasnt fought a lights out puncher since Peter. But at the same time he landed a lot of blows on Peter's face, blows that would knock out Haye.

And styles make fights, Haye's style puts him right in fromt of Wladimer and having to push the fight. Sultan didnt really push the fight he was trying to counter punch Wladimer. Haye would go straight at him and thats why he would get beaten. You talk about Wladimer's china chin but Haye's been dropped too and as hard as Wladimer hits I'm more then willing to bet that if Wladimer lands a heavy right hand which he would with frequency on Haye that Haye would go night night. And I'm no Haye hater its just the only outcome I see happening.

Wow people get delusional so quickly, especially the Brits... First they were saying Hatton would beat Floyd, by KO no less, and now they are saying Haye who is largely unproven at heavyweight will beat the best man in the class since Lennox Lewis. Sure Haye is pretty fast, he has a lot of power, but Ibrigamov was pretty fast as well, and he couldn't land anything. One more problem since just watching the Mormeck-Haye fight is I noticed how open he is for that right hand whereas Wladimir is hard to hit with any punch. Even if you are considering the first man who lands a good punch wins, it has to be Wladimir, he has the longer reach(with his height), he has the same arsenal and accuracy, he hasn't had trouble landing on anyone, and he has much better defense, when was the last time he has been hit hard? Probably against Sanders, and since then he has foughten Chris Byrd, Samuel Peter, Calvin Brock, noname Ray Austin, and Ibrigamov, but my point is he's foughten some of the best prospects (Peter, Brock, Ibrigamov) and he has easily beaten them all, and they all had good punching power if not great in Peter's case, and Ibrigamov was probably the fastest prospect of the heavyweights before David Haye moved up, but I still think they are pretty similar in speed.

People aren't dissing David Haye, we all acknowledge he is a very skillful fighter, but to say that in spite of all his weaknesses that he will beat a guy who is 6'6 and one of the most technically sound heavyweights we've ever seen is pushing it. Haye might do well against a lot of the guys in the heavywieght division, but he is exactly the type of fighter that Wladimir wouldn't have tons of troubles with, He can't seem to fight with his hands up, and Wladimir has had no trouble landing on faster, better defensive fighters than Haye, and people talk about Haye's power when they are forgetting that Wladimir is maybe the hardest puncher in the heavyweight division and also one of the hardest punchers in the sport. ONe more thing to add to this is that Wladimir's jab nullifies speed, and the heavier the weightclass the less footspeed, punch output, stamina, and the heavier punches(jabs) the harder it is to overcome the height and reach differential.

I don't understand why people suddenly think Wladimir can't KO anyone any more....I seem to remember the same being thought of Lennox Lewis.

David Haye might be an awesome heavyweight and then again he might not. He is not a proven entity in the heavyweight division and for every Evander Holyfield there are two guys who don't make it big in the division.

The problem with Sultan was that he got really small and being a southpaw he waited for Wlad to miss a right cross so he could counter.....David Haye has handspeed and power(which hasn't been proven at heavyweight) but he's not a southpaw and he too has stamina issues and it ain't like he's got the best defense ever either.

I sincerly hope this fight is a big one in the future but of course I don't see Wladimir losing to Haye and I do see Wlad KO-ing Haye
