Haye was sensational last night though and i'm proud for my fellow Londoner.
I have high hopes for him at Heavyweight.

Kevin Mitchell suprised me too. That was some second wind!!

good stoppage, Enzo looked tentative from the off. The one thing Haye will have at heavyweight is speed.

Pimp Suit handled his business... It was an impressive TKO. Haye just looked faster.

As far as Enzo "narrowly missing"... That's the difference between a KO and getting KO'd...

You can really say that about any fight.

Enzo didn't land and Hay did... and then he battered the champ against the ropes. I do agree with Daxx on the fact the ref should have been in there sooner. Had the ref gave him a count and he didn't get cracked with the unnessesary punch at the end of the barrage he may have been able to continue to fight...

But again... The "ifs" could fly all day...

The only thing I do know is Haye looked great and I can't wait to see him again!

Maybe i should re-title the thread 'I feel bad for Enzo, he wern't so bad'

Without overrating Haye, i think he'll score a few more stunning KO wins at Heavyweight. I dunno what happens against the Klitschko's/ Peter/ Chagaev & Valuev, but below that group i'm sure David will shine.

Enzo got KNFO, He talked the talk and never walked the walk whearas Haye did. He went in with the wrong strategy to beat Haye and it's his own fault for dropping his hands.

I think he had the right game plan before the fight but soon as he got in the ring that went out of the window, and he paid a heavy price for not sticking to a game plan.

You could see who was going to win on the ring entrance alone. Haye was cool, calm and relaxed dancing to "Ain't no stoping us now" while Enzo practically ran out like a bull as if to say "Let's get this over and done with" and you could tell Enzo was nervous.

Even in the dressing room when Adam Booth was taping Haye's hands he was dancing and had his iPod on

first time I've seen it, definitely impressive, wasn't even slightly competitive. Nice counter rights over the jab. Hopefully Haye's got enough defense and chin for heavy to go along with the speed and power cause he's definitely better to watch than the rest of the glacially slow.

Come on Jim, I mean if that's the case then the same can be said about thousands of fights that went the same way....

Fact is Haye was the better man.....

i agree, it was a fight that put two big punchers together with below average chins, it was whoever landed the first big shot would win, haye got there first.

I actually expect this loss to be the best thing that has ever happened to Maccarinelli.

Im not so sure. What positives does he take from this? He'll never have to fight Haye again? His head is still attached to his arsehole?
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

I don't think Haye can win against Bell though. That dude can just about take being hit by a mack truck.

I think he'd KO Haye around the 8th or 9th round. Frustrates the hell out of me that he never fights.
