Can't blame Casamayor for not fighting Campbell. He's got nine kids and not many fights left, he needs the big money fights.

I agree with VD. Ducking a guy he already beat pretty easily? Dont make sense. Been there beat that guy, why go back?

I think he beats MAB, and Pac fight would be good too.

Casa's not getting any younger here he want's cash.... He'll get it.

Theres 2 top names that want what he has.
Pac and MAB both those names will bring him the cash he want's.
Maybe you are right; but for the sake of boxing, I think giving Campell a shot would be the best thing to do.
Pac wants to capture a title at Lightweight something tells me he'll do that against David Daiz.
I think MAB will get his shot at Casa, MAB wants to accomplish something Erik couldn't do.

I agree from the boxing aspect of it he should fight Nate but it doesn't have to be now. If he wins his next fight then he should fight Nate but not now. Remember he's got 9 mouths to feed (Casa).
Why is it best for boxing that he fight Nate?

I mean commercially the sanctioning bodies involved would much prefer a Barrera or a Pacquaio to make them more money.

HBO would much rather a Barrera or a Paquiao for a big PPV and to make them more money.

Casamayor himself and his family would much rather fight a Barrera or a Pacquaio to make him more money.

And the vast majority of fightfans would be more much interested in a fight with a Barrera or a Pacquaio as well.

So how does boxing lose out by Casa going after Manny or Barrera?

It would give boxing clarity. One champion in the division. It kind of sucks when one fighter is the True champion, but another fighter holds all the alphabet titles. It wouldn't be so bad if campell had one trinket, but the fact that he has 3 of 4 available trinket creates some doubt as to whether Casamayor is the Legitimate Champion. Same think happened when Michael Spinks was heavyweight champion, a young Mike Tyson went around and collected all the alphabet titles. In that situation, there is only one thing to fix the problem: to fight
