I said for a joke Mayweather would have rematches with ODH and Hatton before he fights Cotto and it really may happen. Complete and utter crap. Hatton has no right asking for a rematch, the ref excuse is not enough of one. He got embarrassed in that fight but he is willing to do it again for the money. Bitch. The one piece of good news in all this is that they are suggesting Hatton must first get past Pauli Malignaggi.

Hopefully Paulie can put on the fight of his life and beat Fatton thus forcing Floyd to step up and face a real opponent.

Truth be told he's a proud man, and I believe he has every right to ASK for a rematch to try and avenge his only defeat, although I don't think he should get it. I give Danny G all the credit in the world as he called this. I didn't really see a rematch coming.

I hope this fight doesn't happen. At least Floyd vs Oscar 1 was competitive, the Hatton fight was just an embarrasment.

Golden boy promotions was meant to be an improvement on the status quo, but nothing has changed. If they really intended to 'save' boxing and protect the competitors involved they'd hype the fights that actually have significance (Rafa/Israel) rather than hyping this bollocks.

Where are the 24/7 programs to raise the profile of the real challengers to the real champions? The argument that a fight has to make money to make sense doesn't hold water when the likes of GBP make a concsious decision to hype bullshit fights like Oscar/Floyd ll above fights of more significance like Cotto/Floyd.
