Often I have thought IQ has something to do with it (although it would be hard to prove); it has always eemed the brighter boxers had the weakest chin. :P

Came could be said about Vargas. He only went down to three HUGE punchers.

And the other knockdown was a flash and because Vargas' legs were shot because of the weight loss

some of you people amaze me. Tommy Hearns fought for 29 years as a pro.He fought the best of his
era. During those 29 years he had 3 trips to the canvas, one less than LEONARD, and one less than DURAN
one more than TSZYU. Tommy had three legit tko losses, one more than DURAN,and one more than TSZYU
Two of his tko losses were to hall of famers. When you have over 60 wins with an 80% KO rate it means
you spend a lot time in range of counters, three tko losses in countless title fights against some of the
best fighters the world has seen, does not qualify for a worst chin ever list. DUMBARSES.

Ruiz chin is solid...The Tua fight was against a young hard hard hitting Tua...Ruiz came in the fight cold and was caught with a massive shot....Learn the difference....Ruiz has stood up against Golota, Johnson, Tucker, Holyfield, McCline, Rahman, Valuev, none have been able to KO him......And lets save the cheap ...Thats because he hugs all night...retort

Agreed...Bruno would take massive shots before going down....he was stopped more on quanity of shots rather then one big shot...The punishment he took for Lewis and shots from Tyson befoe being stopped would have done any other fighter in with in half the time

Agreed. He's chin is being exposed now bit by bit. He got KOed (zab style) by N.Donaire and recently got floored twice by a mediocre fighter Gorres.

Roger Mayweather had a glass chin, but he had some good boxing skills and a great right hand, so it did not get exposed too often.

It did not take much to put him down though. I am still in shock as to how Kostya didn't rattle it.

Man thats rediculous, the guy got KO'd once against one of the hardest HW punchers in recent memory by blows that would have KOd pretty much anyone.
