Default Solis vs Botha is on again!

Olympic gold medallist Odlanier Solis and former world heavyweight champion Francois Botha were originally supposed to meet in the ring in December 2007 but the "White Buffalo" pulled out on very short notice. Now everything is set and the contracts are signed for the fight to take place on May 30th in Bilbao, Spain. "Botha still has a very good name," states Solis (9-0, 6 KOs). "His only problem will be that I don't care much about names. I'm looking forward to finally meeting him in the ring though." ARENA-CEO Ahmet Öner commented, "By beating Botha, Odlanier can once more show that he belongs to the elite of heavyweight boxing. In addition to that fighting such an experienced opponent will definitely help him to improve his game and beating Botha will bring him closer to a title fight." In his 18 years in professional boxing Botha (45-4-2, 28 KOs) has only lost to Michael Moorer, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis and Wladimir Klitschko. Promoted by ARENA Box-Promotion and their local partner Stock Eventos the show in Bilbao also features the heavyweight clash between hard-hitting German prospect Konstantin Airich (9-0-1, 8 KOs) and "Brixton Bomber" Danny Williams (38-6-0, 30 KOs).

I'm not sold on Solis and even if he wins against Botha it didn't prove that much...I mean when was the last time that Botha stood in the ring(and I don't mean K1) and how old is he ?!?Actually the other fight they are talking about
Airich vs Williams sounds way more interesting than Solis vs Botha...

I wonder why Botha is still fighting? MMA was not to kind to the former champion and he has not been in the top ten for years. If he loses to Solis I hope he retires. I fight in 5 years then against a guy 10 years younger then him? Makes no sense. The pay check can not be that big?
