    Cintron against Margarito I.......................JK

Andrade when he fought Kessler? He wasn't all messed up but he took alot of shots from a pretty decent puncher all night. You could hit Andrade with a refrigerator and the guy is still going to fight

THERE'S ONLY ONE RICKY HATTON..........ONE RICKY HATTON................
Listen here you little cry baby, I don't feel like watching rabbit punches and hugging for the next 20-30 minutes before Mayweather puts him on his ass.

It's time to come to terms with reality: Your boy got his ass whipped, in embarassing fashion, while fighting dirty.

I know it hurts to have someone tell you that, but it's the truth whether you choose to accept it or not.
    funny stuff from a newbie.

It it was from a more respected, well knowledged poster (Then again someone with knowledge wouldn't say that) I would argue back but because it's you then................it ain't worth it
Lets break down my post shall we?

1.) Hatton got his ass beat. This is a factual statement.

2.) He was consistantly rabbit punching Mayweather throughout the majority of the fight, whether intentionally or unintentionally, it's on film and there's no way to argue with it.

3.) He was attempting to make love to Mayweather. This is the only somewhat debatable point that I made, but let me tell you, after the first couple rounds I was POSITIVE that Hatton wanted to be Mayweather's girlfriend. It's hilarious the way he threw his body into him in a " Oh Floyd, hold me " manner.

So, basically what you're working with is board status ( meaningless, because it has nothing to do with the discussion ), and your personal bias. I don't really have any bias in this, because it's a known fact that I don't like Mayweather. I should also note that I bought the fought and started watching it wanting Hatton to not only win, but knock Mayweather the fuck out and hopefully impair his ability to speak, so you can't say that I'm " just some hater ". To the contrary, I'm someone that desperately wanted Hatton to win before the fight started, and was so disgusted by how he performed that I stopped caring altogether.

Also, I want everyone here to know that I'm not trying to stir up trouble, but calling that performance brave is a statement I can't help but argue with.

No really there was no complaints from Hatton fans when he mugged and repeatedly used Tszyu's nuts as a speed bag was there.. Fair is fair right?

Like I saiad above Hatton would've lost if Ray Hatton was ref, but Cortez didn't treat Nard the same as he did Hatton and that is FACT (to use Fensters favourite phrase)

Yes he is. Lefty is going to be walking with a cane after this. One of the best debuts I seen in this forum.

While I agree that it was wrong for Cortez to allow Hatton's reputation to influence the way he reffed the fight, it is Hatton's fault that he has such a reputation.
Cortez is just a fucking terrible ref. I was equally unimpressed with the way he reffed Calzaghe - Hopkins as I was with the way he reffed PBF - Hatton.

I agree with what you say about the reffing though, it didn't matter who the ref was, PBF was going to win, unfortunately.

I can't believe all the bickering and nobody has talked about these fights!!!

Rocky vs Apollo I - his face looked like hamburger helper and he kept on fighting.

Apollo vs Drago- the guy fought to the death and wouldn't let his corner stop it. That takes guts.

I'm going to give credit to both fighters, and I'm pretty sure everyone can agree on this one: Frazier-Ali 3. Both fighters took many a shot that would put 99% of history's heavyweights on their ass, and as far as bravery and effort goes, you have to give props to them both for putting together a legendary battle.
