I think Gracie will win, everyone is always talking about how strong hughes is, but remember Kimo was way bigger and stronger and he still lost to gracie.

in all fairness that was in the old days, and gracie was allowed to pull his hair for 5 minutes straight

From the UFC website, under the rules section:

Mandatory Equipment: [Top]
Competitors may only use UFC and commission approved 4-6 oz gloves, designed to protect the hand but not large enough to improve the striking surface or weight of the punch.
Commission approved MMA shorts and kickboxing trunks are the only uniforms allowed. Shirts, gis and shoes, and the problems they present for grabbing are not allowed.

that actually changes everything, gracie is in trouble, that guy needs that gi, he isnt that strong and the gi is what he used to perform submission maneuvers

I think it will be interesting. Gracies specialty is submitting guys bigger and more powerful than him. However, I see this match being stood up a lot, because Gracie like to take his time, and work slowly (which is fine, but it wont fly with the refs these days). I really think this will just end with Hughes GnPing Gracie. Either Gracie will get KO'd or ref stoppage, or he'll catch Hughes in an armbar while he GnPs. It WILL end on the ground, with Hughes on top either way, I can pretty much guarantee that. Although...I'd LOVE to see Gracie KO Hughes with a front kick or some other pitiful strike, just cuz I hate Hughes.

Gracie is old, he is amazing, if matt can land a really good one gracie is out, but if matt doesnt watch out its arm bar time.
