PAC moving to lightweight already gives me diarrhea because of fear of PAC getting caught by a big punch by these NATURALLY bigger fighters. I pray wholeheartedly that PAC does not fight Hatton, PAC will get murdered

Hmm i'm one of the only ones who think Pac would have a great chance of beating Hatton. His frame looks like it would be comfortable carrying 140lb. He walks round at quite a lean 150ish anyway.

Thanks for the belief Ono, but the thing is I really don't think PAC has the ability to move up past lightweight, fighters like PBF and ODLH was succesful of becoming multiple-weight champions because of the boxing skill and defense they have, PAC gets hit a lot. PAC has already stretched his capacity to move up coming from 106 lbs - 135 lbs.

I'm with the author. I rediculed the idea of Hatton-Pacquiao not too long ago. But after seeing the Hitman last saturday, imo it will going be a competitive fight after all. I see it now as 50/50.

Hatton is bigger, stronger, and technically better that Pac.

Pacquiao has tougher chin, faster, and hits hard as Hatton.

If Pac loses, it would be from a massive body shot.

If Hatton loses, it would be from a simple KD - followed up by barrage of power punches resulting a TKO.

I don't see either of these guys winning it via decision.

I've been saying it for ages. It's a 50/50 fight. A very entertaining one at that!

i watched pac since the blow by blow times. ive seen him lose because of weight drain ive seen him move up in weight and dominated that weight class he evolved to prolong his career by not going toe to toe with his opponent.

like pbf and odlh pac was successful whenever he moved up in weight. he stays on a lower weight so he has an edge then move up when he cant drain that much weight anymore he does that a lot. his fight night weight is 144lbs anyway! yes he will be a tad slower, punches maybe softer speed is still there im sure!

dont get me wrong i wouldnt be overly shocked to see pac beat ricky.

The guy is a world class athlete who if was a couple of inches taller would be a natural in that division and give the likes of floyd, ricky and cotto all sorts of problems to deal with.

But i just think the guy is reaching by fighting at 136 alone yet alone moving up again.

Pac would have to find an extra 10-15% in his punches to hurt hatton however fast or many combos he throws off rickys aggression will bully him around the ring far to often for my liking.

As said if they fought at 140 tommorow i would suspect hatton would either stop him or like urango, collazo, lazcano etc would be content to just pick off the rounds for a unanimous decision.
