I'm not sure what I'm allowed to post from another site so I won't post anything, but there is more information about Molitor's dispute with him promoter of fightnews.com

Sorry to hear this, gonna be tough for him to fight ANYONE now. He's gonna be stuck in mandatory limbo from here on out. Too bad really.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

I know I'm probably pretty much talking to myself in this thread at this point, but I can't stop thinking about how badly Molitor has just fucked his career over. With Caballero's victory last night, the table was set for a big unification in Molitor's back yard; a tough fight, but one that was completely winnable from what I've read.

Ditching a promoter who has built you up to the point that your fights are television live nationwide in a country that doesn't really care about boxing, right as your career begins what could have been a (relatively speaking) quick ascent. This has really turned me off of Molitor, who was quickly becoming my favorite fighter. Muhammed ripped off Pac, ripped off Holyfield, apparently fucked with Jones... I just can't get over what a stupid decision this seems to be.

In regards to the $175,000 he was offered for the unification bout, Molitor said "That's small potatoes, that's what you offer a prostitute..."

Part of why I was not too sure how I felt regarding the move initially, was that I didn't know anything of Muhammed.

If we took him out of the equation, and put in a promoter who is reputable and has the ability, ties, connections and $$ to get Molitor on the world's biggest stage, that being the USA and its largest venues...then I could understand his reasoning. I do feel he has the ability to step up to the next level. I do think he atleast deserves the chance at the big money draws.

But learning of this promoters history, it really does make you question just what the hell Molitor was thinking. Maybe I over-credited his intelligence?

Again I suppose time will tell.

Boxing intelligence does not equate to real-life intelligence unfortunately. I see what you're saying about getting on the big stage in the U.S., but holding 2 belts is a pretty damn good way to establish a big money fight/unification in the U.S. Molitor just got greedy, and if this shit goes through as planned I got he gets KTFO for it.

Edit: I'm removing Molitor from my avatar in protest.
