So i take it all you hatton haters are now eating a very nice serving of humble pie.

Ricky could of let this freak show take place and earned himself 3 times whatever he would get from fighting malignaggi or torres.

But hatton has allowed common sense to dictate in this one and has put his legacy ahead of his bank balance!!

Not that surprising really, if he's gonna have one last big money fight (granted nothing's quite as big money as Oscar) it might as well be against somebody he has a chance of beating. Obviously that means Pac.

Hatton-Pac is a mismatch. How is beating Pac going to add to his legacy?

That's not a bad point, is there really that much difference between what Hatton would be doing there and what Oscar was doing? Except I'm sure he'll just say you said it only cause you're a Hatton hater.

Of course you are a Hatton hater, its still a decent point.

Beating little "stars" didn't hurt Hopkins.

I find it funny that the Hatton groupies hated the thought of a Hatton-Oscar fight. But got no problem with Hatton-Pac. Hatton groupies are so hypocritical it's hilarious.

Well that's true on the ODLH part, but Tito had all ready fought at 160 and had looked good. I don't think 160 was his best weight (154 IMO) but he wasn't tiny for the weight, Hopkins was just a much better fighter anyway IMO. Oscar was less suited to be at 160 IMO.

Pac hasn't even fought at 135 yet so it doesn't compare to Hopkins-Trinidad yet to me.

I can't think that Pac could possibly be that good at 140, coming up all the way from 112? Doesn't seem possible, but I wouldn't think a guy could come up from 112 and be that successful all the way to up to 130.

He does weigh in about 144 fight nights, although that's not that big for a really big 140 pounder but then again Barrera would weigh like 130 fight night for a 130 pound fight.

Ricky has shown me he at least has a brain.

Oscar is almost as bad as Floyd these days! He needs to fight someone good at 154 and then retire!

Obviously Pac-Hatton is mainly about money..err.. like all fights

It was a ridiculous option before Floyd spanked him.. but there's not many "stars" for Hatton to face. I'd bet should the fight happen, and hatton wins, it will be rattled off as his best win alongside Tszyu

You could make the case he's worse. After all who was the naturally smaller guy that moved up from 147 to 154 for their fight? Oscar was returning the favor but still. They're just interested in big money fights, how upset that makes you is up to you.

They both have good resumes really, Floyd probably gets too much flak for his although it would have been nice if he would have fought Cotto, Williams, etc.

Diaz-Hatton would have been a great fight BUT Pac is a much bigger name than Diaz anyway.

Ive openly stated on endless occasions that ricky should not fight pac.

Why ricky would choose to look outside the box is beyond me.

Fight paulie in the garden which hatton has always wanted
then fight torres in vegas sometime march/april

why is that so hard to envisage
