You can get 100/1 per round for Gomez to win.

If you fancy Gomez to blast him out early, some shrapnel on the rounds is probably the best bet
Worth a tenner on round two or three

I wouldn't leave out the first round.

Although I strongly expect it will be Khan left standing (at the much more conservative odds of 4/1)

The shot Limond hurt him with hit him high on the temple. How does this relate to his chin? Craig Watson also put him down in the ams but he's a pretty big welter weight. I also doubt anybody on here has even seen the knockdown.

I've seen him take a few shots to the jaw and his reaction has been fine. I wouldn't go as far as saying he has a good chin, i just think it's pretty much untested so far.
You kidding? It was all over the news at the time. And has been shown on various boxing shows over the last few years.. Like every Watson fight.

It was clear very early on Khans mob were being ULTRA careful matching him with non punchers.

Limond can't break eggs. Doesn't matter where the shot landed, Limond could only hurt a chinny fighter. Which is what Khan is.
I've never seen anybody on here say they've seen it. I've seen people say 'didn't he get knocked down by craig watson?' quite a lot tho.

I don't think being hurt by a shot that lands on your temple has anything to do with your chin. It could happen to absolutely anyone regardless of how big a puncher the opponent is. Anyway we've bored eachother enough when we've disagreed on something before so if it turns out he has a weak chin, i'll gladly accept 'i told you so's' from you

I agree that they are being very careful by matching him with non punchers. Still surprised that they have put him in with Gomez when he has absolutely nothing to gain from it.

Either way i shall be taking those 100/1 odds by slamming a quid on each of the first 4 rounds for Gomez to shock Britain. Big gambler me

I've just come back from the bookmakers after shotting a few quid on GOMEZ to win by a streight win at 8/1.Im going to put more on tomorrow with having a bet on naming the right round too!I fancy 3,4,5rounds because if he does'nt clock Khan by then, then it'll be too late i think!

This fight is going to be a farce . Gomez didnt even get in his face at the weigh in .

It will be over b4 it begins. Gomez shouldnt be in there .

Damn i really thought i was £200 up when Gomez clocked Khan in the 2nd round.I was screaming me head off for Gomez to finish Khan off after he quickly got back up.Khan was still on rubbery legs a minute after Gomez caught him with that left hook.I knew that if he did'nt finish him off in the 2nd,that Khan would come out blazing....which he sure did at the start of the 3rd.By then i knew that i lost the bet.It was a cracking fight even known it only lasted 5 rounds.I was pretty pleased thre way Gomez was fighting at the opening rounds,by bobbing and weaving on his way in.Yes he did get clocked loads of times but it was going to be like that no matter what with Khan having hight and reach advantange.I enjoyed it even know that i lost £10.Nevermind.I like Khan as a fighter he is really quick but like what was said about him after the fight,He still has a bit to learn.Well done to Gomez....He wasd game for sure!!!!!

    GO KHAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He's obviously got confidence in his own ability. Which is fine.

I don't like how he was saying Gomez was world class after the fight. That's a little naive.

Im not defending Khan but thats a good point Ono remember Mundine was KO'ed with a temple shot by feather fisted Ottke, but then he goes 12 hard rounds with a puncher like Kessler and Mundine has never been stopped since, im not comparing the two but its an interesting point to bring up IMO.
