Many years ago when I was just a toddler, I used to watch this show called Thomas The Tank Engine. I heard that Mr. Carlin was the voice for that show (I'm not sure if it was the one with the English accent, or the 2nd one with the American accent).
Other than that, I'm afraid I never knew too much about him.But God bless him and may he rest in peace.
Man that sux. I just saw his last gig on HBO the other night.
I never laughed at anything that George Carlin said but I hate hearing of his death because it is just a reminder that I will one day die. I just hope it doesn't happen before I turn 55. My overall health is piss poor so 50 on is a big deal for me.
I'm a Woody Allen fan. I like wordy humor.
Never cared for Carlin, Goldthwait, or Kinison. Anyone loud and obnoxious is not funny at all IMO. I struggled to like Farley.
Phil Hartman was damn funny.
Was stunned to hear this really...
Not a huge fan of the man but I really enjoyed his comedy.
My fav. one being "Griefs & Complaints" which I recorded from HBO yrs. ago..
My fav. line from that show...
"I've never been with a 10, but I've been five 2's in one night" - George Carlin
Fucken classic.
