Lucian Bute - raved on by many as some super middle powerhouse, but in my opinion is protected and has not proven jack shit.
Sakio Bika - Maybe it is just me, but I would rather watch paint dry than watching him maul his way through a fight.
Sam Peter - Belongs in the barrel weight division. Him being a champion is an embarrassment to the sport.
1. Carl Froch - is def top of my list, he is arrogant and cocky and mouths off about being the best but hasn't fought anyone of any note, Brian Magee is really poor but he struggled with him, Robin Reid looked absolutely terrible and it still took him a while to get him out of there, he is reasonably talented and throws decent shots from awkward angles but I just don't like him, every time he steps in the ring whoever he is fighting I want to see him lose.
2. Nikolay Valuev - Again I hate seeing him win just because he is such a terrible boxer and athlete, if he beat Marciano's record it would have been a disgrace, for years he was no more than a unbeaten fighter who scrapped around to make a living, give him his dues he did improve over the last couple of years but just watching him makes me cringe, big hairy with slow shots but towering over his opponents. I would love to see Chagaev beat him again, I have nothing against him personally but seeing him win just reminds me how bad the heavyweight division is.
3. Sven Ottke - Retired I know, but there was talks of him making a return so felt justified in including him, the thing is with Sven is it is not his fault why I don't like him, in my opinion he lost a number of fights even if he was gifted the decisions and the wins took a lot away from the guys who deserved to beat him, the one that comes to mind the most is Mads Larsen, he was a good fighter but that loss took so much of his love for the sport he spend a long time away from the ring. I didn't like watching him fight either, really dull.
4. Joe Spina - I don't like the way he portrays himself he is very arrogant but neither him or his team will take a risk against a decent fighter, he lost badly to Manfredo and has since struggled against pretty basic guys, but somehow he has managed to hold his ranking and reputation. He need to step up or shut up.
5. Daniel Ponce De Leon - This is only more recently since he could knock anyone out with one punch, he has recently discovered this is not the case and he has a number of weaknesses himself he need to work on, think the guy has talent but is wasting it with his wild swings, more of a frustration thing that a hate thing though.
Antonio Margarito. Self-branded himself boxing's most feared fighter and sure, that one guy's ear practically being torn off was gruesome but what else? Seeing him smile while the other guy hesitantly punched him wasn't impressive to me. The guy has shit for defense and Paul Williams showed how scary he is. Joshua Clottey spanked him until injuring his hand. The only people who should be afraid of him are guys who have no hope of breaking through the top ten.
Oops
Manny Pacquiao - Cuz he is over rated and his fans are . . .
Kermit Cintron: Absolutely can't stand him. Guy is a quitter IMO. I know he's got skills and he hits like a mule; but the heart is not there. I'm not saying he's a coward, because it takes courage to get in the ring; but it takes more courage to stay in the ring when things don't go your way. Just cause' Margarito is the only one to beat him doesn't mean anything; he got exposed for the quitter he really is. Needs to watch some Vasquez/Marquez fights and see what he's lacking.
Tye Fields: Seems a nice guy, and just trying to be something; but he's a big retard who makes me cringe when he's in the ring. It's ridiculous. I just want someone to knock him out. The heavyweight division has turned into a circus sideshow and he's the clown.
Paulie Malinaggi: Very annoying; and his last outing with his Super Cuts moment was absurd. I just want someone to beat him so badly he retires{sorry guys}.
PBF, Witter, Klitchsko, Maccarinelli, Calzaghe, Taylor.
Although there are three fighters that you all know i dislike.....ruiz, tarver, and layla ali, i'd probably only actually root against ali. I generally don't get caught up in any individual fighter that i will root for or against them like or dislike i really don't want to see her win. There are many reasons but to make it short, layla comes into the sport when it was young and just starting out and yes the girl was bangin from the start. But right when the sport starts to pick up and other female fighters start to be developed all of the sudden ali is too good to fight. We all know the real reason is ann wolfe, who i wouldn't fuck or fight without a gun either but for as much shit as this girl talks.........she's almost tarver esqe in her statments. She will say all these women are not on her level then you bring up five that are and she now changes and says i'm too busy etc...the chick thinks she is way bigger than the sport itself. Instead of helping promote is she basically has the attitude that she is too good and the sport needs to catch up to her before she will grace our lives with another fight. She reminds me of the cat on kung fu hustle that was calling people out in the beggining of the movie till they actually accepted then he told them to go sit the fuck down. She feels because she beat christy martin who was so much smaller....there's no other comp. The girl wasn't even in her weight class.....instead of making boxing better she's made it worse, and female boxing isn't really all that sucessful to start with. I dislike the other two just as much but it doesn't bother me to see either of them win. I'm rambling i know, she was ali does to me....at least she's somewhat good looking (in a innocent way...case my wife reads this)

not liking our boys from this side of the pond are you lol.
Seems a lot of people rooting against my current favourite car froch, don't get me wrong I know he's no world beater and I know he has many flaws, but I like his boxing style.
For me i'd say recently it would have to be hopkins. Calzaghe's going from rooting for to rooting against, but then again thats a british thing all over isn't it, they get to the top then we turn on them and knock them back down, boxers, footballers, rock stars, politicians, we love to do that! Everyone loved amir khan after the olympics now look!
This one is a bit difficult to explain. I like him (even if nobody believes me) but like you said, people seem to worship him around here and I get into debates all the time about him being invincible and all. So now, when I see him fight I wish he lost to just prove my point. I don't remember anybody even daring themselves to mention a weakness (and he shows many in EVERY fight). I really wanted him to face Floyd. That would be an interesting scenario for me because while I cross my fingers to see him spank Floyd silly and finally see someone beat him I also would want to see Cotto be dominated to prove my point and go "See? I told you guys he was too slow, bad defense, got cut since round one, punches rained all over him from all different angles, he couldn't even make Floyd sweat, etc." . If he was not as overrated and worshipped I would probably be rooting for him against Floyd all the way.
Antonio Margarito, same thing.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. Just wanted someone to put him in his place and see how he would take the loss. I wanted the same thing for Naz and he took it quite well and gave MAB all the credit, no excuses. After that, I started liking Naz. Same thing for ODLH. I just wanted to see him loose before. After his first loss I started liking him.
Pac. It's not because I don't like him. He's a humble guy and is not known for talking trash. But I would like to see how all his fans would take a REAL loss. I say "real" because his fights against Marquez had some questionable desicions.
