    I guess it's the same as me watching Cricket it makes no sense.

    Baseball is fairly simple.

    A pitcher pitches to a guy who tries to hit the ball between the lines and away from all the defense on the field. Uniforms help. Cricket is just weird though I don't understand such a strange game.

    Cricket too is messed up, although its becoming quite popular here.

    For me boxing is my one and only. Although I'll watch other sports (rugby would be a favourite) I rarely have time to follow any of the seasons properly because of training or work.

    I'd like to play some basketball again.

    Basketball is great. I love basketball I play for hours on hours every day it's really great. My favorite game to play in the world and my second favorite to watch. But I like all sports to be honest, don't follow them all but I generally like them all.

    I used to play basketball alot when I was younger.

    I was nothing special, I rarely played with anyone but my friends, but I greatly enjoyed it.
    I was a good shot too.

    I'd jusyt like to play a little indoor now with some decent sized teams.

    I wish I had an indoor court to play though I am going to try to walk on at my junior college I think. Don't know how that will work out but I really want to. Haven't played on a nice hardcourt in a long time.

    I hear there is a good documentary about the Irish National Basketbal team I haven't seen it though.

    Haven't seen it myself either.
    There's not enough emphasis on the sport here, so I doubt that they'll progress beyond European level anytime soon.

    There are 5 courts at the NUI near where I work.
    If I round up a group of guys I'd love a few regular games....Really enjoyable exercise.

    I stopped watching soccer after Cantona retired.
    Same thing here.... I used to stay and up watch every F1 race when it was on late here, but havn't watched it since Ayton Senna died..

    But as you alluded to the best teams will stay at the top becuse of how attractive they are to the top players.

    As I mentioned here, you play for your local club, if your good, you go on to represent the county.

    You play in your locality, for your town/village or county.

    This the saying;

    Ask not what your County can do for you;
    Ask what you can do for your county.
    I wish hockey was like this.

    I think it's a good addition to the Clips old seasoned vet who can bring this and pass it around to a younger team.

    Was really surprised at this...

    I hear that the Warriors just signed Elton Brand. So it almost evens out depending on how well Brand has recovered from his season ending injury.
