I went with 4, PSL.
Pretty simple. He's a 5 division titlist. But a 3 or 4 division champion. I say 3 or 4 because I have no idea whether anyone else had a case for being the man to beat at 112 while Pac was champ. The possible 3 is really my own bias since I don't think he beat Marquez in the rematch to lift his title at 130. Obviously even that fight aside you could argue he deserved in after avenging the loss to Morales, but then again MOrales was coming off the loss to Raheem blah blah blah. He definetly doesn't deserve to be called a real LW champion off of beating David Diaz. Either way his resume is great, the kind of opponents a fighter has been in with and/or beaten is worth so much more than titles anyways.
In my eyes Manny is a 4 weight world-clampion and a 5 weight title holder, the only division he isnt the real champ is 135lbs Diaz is a paper title holder Nate Campbell is the champ.
He has 5 so i voted 5.
If you even dream of beating me you'd better wake up and apologize. Muhammad Ali.

As much as i like Pacquiao i consider him a 3 weight division champion purely because i didn't think he beat Marquez in there rematch.
You have it the wrong way round when you call him a 4 division champion and 5 division titlist. Simply because Manny never held a title at featherweight. You can make a case for him being the best featherweight for a while (beating Barrera and drawing with Marquez). But the fact is that he has only held actual belts at 4 weights, so 4 divison titlist can“t be up for debate. 5 division champion CAN though, as that“s a matter of opinion (if he“s been the man to beat at five different weights or not)
Barrera was the man at 126lbs when they fought, So why can't that be considered his 5th. Why not label him a 5 time champion he did beat 5 champions.
Regarding PAC-JMM rivalry regardless on how many rounds JMM won over PAC, the fact remains those 4 knockdowns and countless wobbles that PAC scored vs JMM matters and they did happen to eek out a win on both fights.
Well if manny won a belt there he jsut be called a belt holder if he did not beat the cahmp there.
if belt holder is different from champ then floyd should just be considered a 4 division champ because carlos baldomir/ judah isnt exactly a "CHAMP".
But I'd credit PBF for his lightmiddleweight title in ODLH, light welter belt in fighting Hatton(although it was in welter) and lightweight titles. But his welter status is highyl questionable considering it was a deep division.
I been wondering about this for a few weeks now and I have come to my conclusion.....Pac is a Living Legend! forget how many title he has won. Nobody has ever done what he is doing. from 106-135 and maybe to 140. Plus the lowest division is even more harder to go up in weight. Pac is living definition of pound for pound, and he still has his speed and punching power which is unheard ofAND he is adding more boxing skills after skills even now that his a lightweight

Absolutely right. Pac has bypassed some other divisions which he could've easily taken if he wanted, and if he did, he would've easily surpassed 5 division title hold; so this debate of 'how many division titles(?)' doesn't mean much. Besides, the battle-line here has been drawn long time ago, where almost everyone votes in a very boringly predictable manner, not that it's bad though cuz we're all just fans first and foremost before we are objective boxing analysts. As one of the original member here, I think mironlang knows this more than any of us, he's been thru the worst of it here.
Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.
