He could clean up LWW and retire unified, now that would be a nice cherry on top.

Don't think so.. His resume ain't that good to be called an ATG.

I agree - no way an all time great. Not had enough significant wins against other main guys in their prime.

Even if he beats Pac it won't change anything. A win over Mayweather is only way he could get back to be considered for that status - and that is not going to happen end of - even if a rematch takes place

Had he beaten Mayweather then maybe - but then again Honeyghan beat Curry didn't he...

An all time British great ? Yes Hatton is definitely that. Hall of fame without a doubt.

    But sadly not an ATG.

    Calzaghe....?
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate

How many fights he fought at top flight? and who are they? Then that will define his status in the ALL TIME GREAT LIST.
So now lets take a look at Hattons record..

    1- 45 fights (44 wins,31 by KO, 1 loss only)
(loss to FM for the WBC WW)

2- who's who in those 44 wins? How many championship level fights?
Championship level (title on the line or eliminator)
    WBC,WBA,IBF,WBO,lets include RING

    top level opposition:

-all started with the IBF eliminator Michael Stewart(36-2-2)LWW
    -Kostya Tszyu(31-1-0)IBF LWW
    -Carlos Maussa(20-2-0)IBF WBA LWW
    -Luis Collazo(26-1-0)WBA WW
    -Juan Urango(17-0-1)IBF LWW
    -Jose Luis Castillo(55-7-1) LWW
    -Floyd Mayweather Jr(38-0-0) WBC WW
    -Juan Lazcano(37-4-1)LWW

3 - How long has he been in the top flight? 3-4YEARS
4- How many fights since? 7fights
    5- record since? 6 WINS , 1 LOSS
6- How many sure future hall of famers he fought? 2 maybe(tszyu&fm)
(for more see his record at boxrec)

The C.V. of Mr. Hatton speak for itself. Now judge if he is an ALL TIME GREAT. Please don't argue with reasons of conspiracy like PAST THEIR PRIME or MOVING UP DIVISION or ETC ETC... A win is A WIN and A loss is A LOSS. Now compare his C.V. to all other active fighters right now. look at lightweight-l.welter-welter fighters.

Are you impress with his record and consider him an all time great or not?

    PEACE

    Active Fighters Right Now

    Manny Pacquiao:
    -Erik Moralesx3
    -Marco Antonio Barrerax2
    -Juan Manuel Marquez x2

(No need to explain their accomplishments)

    Miguel Cotto:
    -Antonio Margarito
    -Shane Mosley
    -Zab Judah
    -Carlos Quintana
    -Paulie Malignaggi
    -Ricardo Torres
    -Demarcus Corley

    Oscar De La Hoya:
    -Floyd Mayweather
    -Ricardo Mayorga
    -Bernard Hopkins
    -Shane Mosley
    -Felix Trinidad
    -Oba Carr
    -Ike Quartey
    -Julio Cesar Chavez
    -Arturo Gatti
    -Fernando Vargas
    -Pernell Whitaker

If you'd like, I could name more C.V.s from Mosley, Hopkins, Winky, Trinidad, Casamayor, all of whom have more impressive competition than Hatton.

    PEACE!

Thanks mate for the list. That's why im still not impress with Hatton's record. He was a little overhype to my opinion... im sorry but that's what i see... He's not yet there but he can change it by taking significant fights.

OK someone explain to me why Hatton was better than Aaron Pryor and JCC at 140.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
