Tyson was always a good boxing historian - the saddest thing about his career is that he started off as a boxing fan and ended up hating the sport.

I recall a lot of interviews where he was talking about old-time fighters in a very knowledgeable way, and there is a certain link with Patterson as D'Amato trained him too.

    RIP Floyd.

    Incidentally, :

"VAN SUSTEREN: I don't remember it. Do boxers sort of hang out together? I mean, like, do you know Muhammad Ali? Did you know Sonny Liston? I mean, did you know any of these people?"

What a stupid question. Sort of like saying, are all black people lousy tippers (!) The worst interview question I ever head was when Joanna Lumley was interviewing Ali, Foreman, Frazier, Holmes and Norton on 'Wogan's chat show and she said - "but did you really hurt each other, then"

    stupid bint.

True. How the hell was Tyson supposed to have hung out with Liston when Liston was dead before 1980? I shudder when I think of how the man died. Something wasn't right, there were needle marks all on his body and the man hated needles. The mob got em, and I don't think it was a pleasant death either.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
