Cotto is full of class and poise in the interview, he said everything a REAL fighter should say before a "war" type match.

Cintron threw what he had and got scared. I kept waiting for him to pull a towel out of his shorts and throw it in himself during the Margo fight after he realized he had a serious battle on his hands.

So yea, his words now dissin' Cotto are kinda annoying only because he is trying to justify that performance he gave by endorsing Margos skill.

Don't get me wrong, I respect Margarito, and also Cotto. Can't wait for the fight. Citron though, meh. Just, meh.

p4pking, Cintron has held my respect since taking every shot from David Estrada and giving it back to win a GREAT battle on a candidate fight of the year in 06.

The greatest fight of 2006 IMO.

A man who fights like that is honest in the ring and tends to be honest outside.

Just because his opinion now has a "loser" attached to it... I will still listen to what he has to say.

Although Cintron did lie about his injury against Feliciana, I believe that fight was, when he lied down and said he had an injury during the fight. heheh

But I still think Cintron honestly believes Cotto will lose. Just as Cotto says, it doesn't matter, we'll see who's opinion matters in July.

Cotto is so professional, he'd destroy Mayweather.

How do you know it's Cintron's honest opinion of the fight though?? I mean it's just natural for him to hold the guy who KO'ed him twice on a pedestal.. But it could easily just be damage control for his own career. Cintron HOPES that Margarito can beat Cotto because then he doesn't look nearly as bad for getting stopped twice.

That's a great point. If Margarito beats Cotto then Cintron can start stomping for a lucrative bout with Cotto. Cintron would lose, but all the while leading up to the fight there would be at least SOME speculation. I mean, if Margarito KOs Cotto then that sort of gives Cintron a pass.
