For some reason Naseem Hamed-Augie Sanchez popped into my head. That was a good fight

A fight that NEVER gets mentioned as a great fight was Manuel Gomez vs. Miguel Angel Gonzalez but it was an absolute cracker.

Another of my favorite fights is Erik Morales vs. Wayne McCollough. That one has gotten a bit more credit, but not enough

And maybe the most entertaining fight I have seen, in a "What will happen next??" kind of way, was Bowe-Golota 2

But what are some fights that you really enjoy that nobody ever really talks about as good/great fights? They don't have to be all action thrillers, but just some fights you really find enjoyable that some might not know about or know they were great.

    I'll start out.

    Lamon Brewster - Sergei Lyakhovich

    Juan Diaz - Jose Cotto

    Librado Andrade - Yusaf Mack

    Jamie Moore - Matthew Macklin

Jean Marc Mormeck - Oneil Bell

There's more but that's a pretty good spectrum to start out I think.
Yeah, if I think what you mean then I would say Hagler V Duran and Duarn v DeJesus 2 and 3.

Also, De La Hoya V Vargas.

I think some Toney fights get slept on a little.... Vs Reggie Johnson and Prince Charles Williams, Tim Littles, all great fights to watch.

Haven't actually seen it, but I did watch an ancient ESPN replay not to long ago, of a young Kevin Kelly vs Troy Dorsey. That was also a great fight that I've never heard mentioned, toe to toe battle till the end. Kelly really liked to fight to much for his own good and gave up all his advantages, I actually thought he may have lost.

Niiice. This is one that helped seal me up as a fan.....fantastic back and forth and all time KO from nowhere,I loved when Dierdorf (?) was laboring..."And still,no right hand,he has not thrown it" etc.I think the first one Davis threw in the 9th is the one that pole axed Breland.Awesome!

Yes that would have been another one I posted. Two of my favorite contenders from that era, Davis was a spark plug. Almost out in the round or two rounds prior and boom, Breland ended up laying on his own feet.

In a way,Ive always thought Davis was a little underrated...just abit.He was just one of those solid types, nothing overly outstanding but all around solid.M.Taylor made him look a hundred years old though.Aaron has some big time battles,Rupa,Brown & Marshall fights.Thought he was jobbed for the title vs. Vasquez from what I saw.

and you have to love The Pazienza drubbing....( I did )....He made Paz look like a misshapen bloody gargoyle and just tore him a new one
