Both look confident and in great shape. If Cotto boxes intelligently using that jab...he is the better skilled fighter and should win by decision. If this thing becomes a slug fest...i can see Cotto getting KOed. I just think Cotto's defense and chin will be seriously tested in this fight. Should be a great fight!

I cant help but notice the size difference and how Cintrons big right hands did nothing to Margarito.

Cotto is a good boxer but hasnt fought a genuine welter as yet, well Quintana started as a light welter.

Margaritos size will tell here for sure, ive seen Cotto being chased round the ring by smaller fighters like Ndou, Margarito is gonna make him run.

Where does Cottos weight come from because he is all round smaller than Margarito.

The other thing about Cottos recent opponents is they havent been able to fight at a pace and were mostly throwing 1 shot at a time.

Margarito is huge compared to Cotto, i look for Cotto to use the in out tactics he aplied against Gomez. If he goes to war he'll lose this fight.

I can not get over the size difference. Margo looks like a middleweight compared to Cotto.

Even if it turns out to be boxer v brawler type fight it will defo be intriguing as hell. I will SKY+ then watch it in the morning, if I can sleep that is. Have been looking forward to this for so long.

This fight opitimises what true boxing match ups are for the true fan.

All along I have been utterly convinced that Cotto wins this fight comfortably . I have seen nothing at the weigh in that changes my mind. It will be a Cotto UD

Honestly, I've been having a hard time sleeping for like 3 days and I've been driving my kids crazy talking boxing. They said they had enough so wether you guys read it or not I have to let it out before I explode.

Guys please tell me I'm not alone.

If I am, maybe it's time for a mental evaluation.
Nah man your not alone, this is an absolute dream matchup

Not really much to talk about both men are in great shape as we expected and its basically simple if Miguel Cotto boxes he has a great chance of winning if he brawls he has great chance of losing it really is as simple as that i just want the winner to fight Paul Williams.

I just dont See Cotto putting a dent in Tony... The relentless pressure Margarito will apply will surely make Cotto feel like he's crawling through the Mojave Desert on broken glass..

Also whats Cotto's fascination with showing off his pubes constantly?

Miguel please pull up your pants

Miguel Cotto won't put a dent in Antonio Margarito's chin but he can dent his long torso this fight well tell us if Miguel Cotto can deal with a good pressure fighter like Antonio Margarito and it will also tell us if Antonio Margarito has an iron stomach as well as an iron chin.

Like CMM said in his analysis Margarito is gonna dig Cotto's body like never before so we shall see if Cotto can stand to get his gut busted too...

I just see a Knock out drag out fight... I mean Margarito can TKO Cotto mid rounds or Miguel can blow Tony out of there and erase any doubt that he is a superstar

Margarito is going to confirm what we have known all along. Margarito is the best welterweight in the game.

Its hard to see how Cotto matches up strength or size wise, Cotto has a very methodical aproach, nothing wild or fast, just a workman like aproach.

Margarito also has not much other than size and work to offer against Cottos style and patience, I dont see this fight being a thriller, for that I think theyd nee to be nearer in size or power, which is clearly with Tony, for this rteason I see Cotto making it a boring fight and, fuuck I still cant tell but if I had to bet my house itd be Cotto but common sense still says Margarito w3ill just be too much for the smaller Cotto, it will be a good fight but cotto is too small too want to be in an exciting fight for a prolonged period

What are you laughing at? Margarito is not a protected fighter. He is the real deal. No one else in the WW division would have taken the Williams fight at the time he when it was setting up the first potential Cotto fight. But Tony did.
He did not look bad in his loss to Williams and I think he would win a re-match. A loss or two over a long career just means you aren't a protected fuck.
