Two Majority Decisions and a hideous UD against Manfredo will do that to you.

Besides, he can feel the sting of the Calzaghe ass whippin' and knows a fight with Jermain Taylor would just be a rehash. I know I wouldn't do it if I watched my last four fights and saw what we saw.

St. Pete's Lacy Says He Is Retiring

    Damn!

Why could we just not get Mikkel vs. Jeff in Florida before he retired?

    Sad, sad and sad

I really hate this LacyMania II - anyone is saying: "before he was so and so good and could KO anyone" - no, he has always been very limited - just be professional and look at his fights vs. Thompson, Sheika and Vanderpool - he really WAS NOT good as a pro. Just like his international amateur career. Average - like it or not.

But he was black, American and the sole hope in SMW in The States - so he was built up to be good.

Anyone who saw Lacy being slaughtered against Gaidarbek Gaidarbekov in the Olympics would never have contributed to the stupid Lacymania - at best Lacy had heart and lately became a nice guy - but skills at world level, not!!!!

Gaidarbek Gaidarbekov did to Lacy what Calzaghe had to use 12 rounds of boxing to do in just 7 minutes. Lacy was outboxed and saved by mercy.

why would you had Lacy to commit suicide
    by fighting Kessler
Super Middleweight also acknowledge as Kessler's Kingdom when Calzaghe has retire

Lacy was winning but still not pointing in a positive direction.....his fans are sad, but it's smart to know when to just get gone. Not worth risking your health to prove something to fans and media who wont give a crap about you when you're studdering your words trying to read a book to your grandkids one day cause you wanted to prove how tough you are, the window opens and closes and it's a short time usually in boxing, the smart one's see that and close it themselves on thier own terms...

Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla - your words are wise especially if you spoke before everyone knew, Lacy was average at best....

With no real feelings one way or the other, neither fan or antagonist if he wants to retire,he should retire, because if his heart isnt in it,he is going to get taken out.

I was under the impression that the money on offer was upped and Jeff has signed to fight Taylor?

Just watching the Lacy brawl with E. Mendoza again. Is Taylor match on ? Lacy better cross the street when he see's Jt ,I think Taylor takes him out, harshly.
