Campbell is solid in Blow by Blow....nice dude.I dont care what anyone says, the lightweights are putting on some nice ones and pretty thick with skills.I think he will need doppler Radar to see Guzmans sneaky shots though....very good fight!

Well, I'm not watching the Julio fight because I'm really tired of watching Julio fight guys who he just carries. I like my power punchers to be explosive thank you very much. It was fun when he was breaking Robert (I think that's his first name) Kamya's jaw but the act has grown old. Maybe he should fight another Contender guy.

It was the Greene fight I was interested in from the get go and it proved a most interesting one indeed. Crazy, crazy fight. It looked like a Rocky fight where guys were bouncing off the ropes like Rick Flair to throw punches and hurting people as they get back up from the mat. And how dirty was Torres? Really, Torres was Agapito Sanchez, Mike Tyson and Bernard Hopkins all rolled into one, ordered light on skill.

I thought it was a gritty performance from Greene. He's still raw, does a lot of things bad still. He keeps his feet a bit wide at times, that presents problems moving back, can't get away in time which is why that reaching right of Torres was able to find a home in the middle rounds. He isn't terrible inside, but he is terrible when he squares up to his guy which unfortunately he does too much, whether he's hurt or got his guy hurt he likes to square up and it is really just a bad fit. His legs get wide, his punches get wide, he bends over at the waist and really loses all accuracy. That habit where he looks to the corner is just a tic I believe but even though Teddy Atlas blows it up everytime he fights, it is something that has to be corrected.

Still, he has power, has skill and can give a bunch of different looks. Was impressed with his defense tonight in the later rounds how he used those forearms to block most everything and he has the handspeed to counter quickly out of that posture and from long range. His body work in the late rounds really broke Torres imo, I bet he wished he started that in the early rounds when Torres wasn't opening up and he wasn't landing the jab. It's interesting that he's at this weight, even though it's a bit deeper then middleweight, it's a better division for him I would think. Of course he isn't ready for guys like Santos and the other champions but this wasn't a bad showing.

More then anything it was just a show that he had the mental toughness to stick in there and not fold which we have seen a lot of guys do when faced with these Colombians this year. He didn't once go into survival mode and give away rounds and become a target, and that's a way I like to see guys approach being hurt. Could do without all the off balance squared up stuff but it wasn't a bad fight.

Should take a bit of a step up maybe one of Julio's leftovers in Bundrage or Smith who are both coming off big wins for them.

Sheika really showed the limitations of Lacy.

I saw it too. Sheika knew how to frustrate Lacy too, but in the end he broke down.
