Yeh, could be Calzaghe Lcy revisited
Don't think Winky is capable of being that agressive, but it could be really embarassing for Taylor. I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaallllll y don't want it to being a huge fan of Jermaine but more than likely it will. The upside is Winky should be fighting Calzaghe if he wins!

    Your 50/50.

    Let's make you 51/50.

That being said...I disagree. Winky can be aggressive. He's was pretty aggressive against Vargas. I think that when Winky's on point & pushed to the challenge (as in Tito, Vargas, Mosley) then he goes the fwock off...when he's fighting someone that he doesn't really see as worthy of a title defense (as in Frazier, Candello, & Soliman) he get's a little lack & it's all about the defense.

People act like he didn't do shat against Tito...I disagree & say that they should watch that fight again...& the Mosley fights.

Winky's the shat. Period. People may not like his style...but he get's the job done & not by luck of the draw either.

Oh yeah...& I don't want to see Winky Calzaghe ever materialize. I like both of them too much.

Also...I'd be hard pressed to pick a winner & I think that it's a step in the wrong direction for Calzaghe. Unify & then fight Tarver or Woods @ 175 & retire.

I see what you're saying and he did take it to Vargas and Tito, but he wasn't coming at him with everything in the book accompanied by the facial expression of a mad scientist

Here's my thing with Wright...the reason I dig him sooooo much...if you watch him fight...even against Soliman...as goofy as he was to match...Wright has a very VERY high connection rate. He doesn't waste a lot of punches but he lands a vast majority of what he throws with pretty much pin point accuaracy. Watch his fights again. He always remains calm too.

That says a lot to me.

Even when he was bleeding with Vargas, even though Vargas was HBO's GB2, even though he was the underdog...he was focused & sharpish & most people highly contest that decision.

We shouldn't even talk about the Tito fight...I mean...that's like kicking a man while he's down then urinating on him.

    Wasn't it 24 rounds with B-Hop?

Jermain has the talent to beat anyone from 154 to 175....he's big, he's slick, he's fast, he's young. The kid is a winner and you're a damn fool if you don't side with him!

I actually think Taylor is going to win this fight. Winky has never fought a true middleweight in his career, doesn't that count for something.. imo... Hopkins was a bigger challenge then Winky will be, due to his size and style.. Hopkins was old sure but he was still very crafty as is Wright, but Hopkins uses the ring ALOT more, and was more difficult to actuallly hit at all. I dont think thats going to be the case in this fight, Winky will block alot of shots but he wont make Taylor miss as much. Winky is stationary, he has mastered his guard very well, but I think Taylor is bigger and stronger then he thinks, and moreso then anyone he ever fought. Taylor has to work his jab all night, and with Steward in his corner I think he will do it.

Winky has defense...Hopkins had a difficult style and POWER.

Winky is VERY talented and Taylor will have trouble with him but he'll win!

First fight was a draw and Taylor won the second imo.

And those rounds definitely didn't hurt him but I still have my boy Winky winning an easy UD.

Personally...I think that Nard won the first one...Taylor the second one.

Love to see how on earth you have Hopkins 8 roundsin fight 1?

    Think I gave him 2, 8, 10, 11 & 12 - from memory

    Love this subject
because after the first 8 rounds I had the fight 4 rounds to 4. And Hopkins swept rounds 9 10 11 and 12. So thats how
Big H do you remember B-hop beatting Jt from post to post in the last few rounds. SO B-hop won both fights because he fought his fight both times, and made jt do the same.
