Its based on their fights with Johnson. Dawson Lost to Johnson certainly in the eyes of the crowd if not the judges but Tarver clearly beat a younger version afew years back

Also stylistically I reckon Traver may be that much better on the front foot and utilise his combination punching and uppercut . He digs al little harder too so that puts his nose infront IMO.
Yes but don't forget it was a younger Tarver too. I'll go for a close maybe SD win for Dawson but after seeing Tavoris Cloud for the first time the other week I think he maybe the next superstar of the division. Really impressed.
