Verve have had some great tunes but go back through Oasis back catalogue and it's tune after tune after tune...
A few dodgy Albums yeah but Noel Gallagher has now gotta be one of the best song writers this country has ever produced... with ease.
When you see em live they sound so good and the new band are top musicians,add to that Ringos boy on drums and it's game over imo.

Richard Ashcroft is the Boss as 1 of the best british song writers.Oasis are just old men living and behaving likes daft kids,no wonder their got attacked on stage by a stranger!Ha!

We'll agree to disagree but the stats go with Oasis anyway i'm a big fan of all 3 and have seen em all live a good few times (Ian Brown was embarressing live-terrible voice when heard live and we even left early)
Was listening to Day Break from the Stone Roses "Second coming" album earlier WHAT A TUNE!!!
Forgot how filthy the B-Line is

His second wasn't bad either (bit hit and miss) like your taste in tunes

I liked their old stuff mate,but i turned to verve instead.I might have a listen to it but i wont be running out to the shops to buy it tho,not yet anyhow.I bought the new Verve's album 2weeks ago and i like it a lot

I actually don't like the Beatles at all LOL. I LOVE Oasis btw. Awesome band. They're playing in Liverpool next month. My bastard cousin had tickets and sold them to one of his friends instead of cunsulting me. Asshole.

Weird thing i find (and the Kings of Leons frontman said this the other day) is that everything we find shit the US seem to like and vice versa..
very British thing Oasis and Liam f*cked things up years ago when he called someone in the Audience a yank cunt then spat on them (DID NOT go down v well) plus he pulled out of the MTV unplugged gig stating he had a sore throat then sat in the balcony chain smoking and kissing his missus (MTV were seriously pissed off about that)
Noel still has a long way to go before he's anywhere near the guys you mentioned (bar Elton Wrong)
The Kings of Leon are Massive over here and currently number one and are pretty non existent over your side.
Baffling as they are imo the best rock band on the planet at present and are amazing live.
