I'm a big Barrera fan and was pretty much 50/50 on the Pac Barrera rematch but based on last nights performance i'm not to sure I want to see it, cause Barrera will get beat up again

Watch Barrera-Morales II and III. Ok Barrera didnt conclusively win II, but what was noticeable about his perofrmance, in both? Even against his most hated rival, Barrera managed to curb his warring instincts and ADJUST to beat Morales. This is a trait you dont often see in exciting Mexican and Eastern fighters who love to brawl.

For this reason I still give Barrera a shot at a points victoy over Pacquaio, but the first defeat was so bad I'm not sure even he can overcome it. If Pacquaio comes in focused, there arent many isnt anyone that could stop him.

Pac is far from invincible. He's completely one-dimensional. Hell of a dimension, mind you.

Barrera just wasn't himself in the first fight. Pac at his absolute best couldn't dominate a focused Barrera like he did the first time. No one could.

I think thats the key, he needs to sit down and think about it. If he feels motivated and can give 100% i think he will win a UD - would be a fitting way for a legend to reitre!

I'd certainly want MAB to win to go out on a high but I'm sorry,I just do not see it. The HBO team pointed in round 9 or 10 I thnk that MAB did not look that down and battle worn since the Pac fight. I think if Juarez had let his hands go more and earlier,he could have won.However,I can imagine MAB being more focused to fight Pac,I mean fighting Juarez must have been a let down when he was supposed to make history by beating Chavez! In the first Pac EM fight,EM had to go to war alot too,does MAB still have it in him to go to war with Pac?Possibly. I see both sides and I would say Pac would win BUT I would much rather MAB won. I also disagree with his plan to have 7 more fights,way toooo much and I hope he realised that lsat night.
I'd looooove to see Jurez Pacman,he's not as agressive,does not use a jab but he has crushing crushing power! Anyone see MAB's face and Juarez did not land massive amounts of punches! The boy needs to let his hands go!

After watching the fight last night...i think it will be more difficult for MAB to beat PAC on the rematch,to date i think PAC is one of the fastest puncher right now...he is relentless doesn't stop,keeps on punching and attacking,there is no way to avoid him for the whole 12 rounds...but i honestly think that MAB will give PAC a hard time on the 2nd match the reason is HEART...the truth is i have always admired MAB for his great boxing skills and counter-punching abilities..its just unfortunate that he has to clash with PAC who is my favorite fighter,i thought that after i saw PAC vs EM 1, i will never see fighter bloody and all...willing to fight it out up to the last round...but MAB showed me something new about him that night..that despite the fact that he is being hit by Juarez power punches he kept on fighting back i mean you cant help but be impressed by the way he held on,not just held on but fought back...to me that is the most important thing...I think if ever that this fight will go through in the future this will be classic..super fight in the making....

what are you talking about?
Manny has improved a hell of alot since his last win against Barrera, he is no longer the fighter who throws the jab jab, left hand anymore.
Barrera has only gotten older, imo it will be worse this time around
