I disagree about Hopkins being the toughest test, I really think Dawson is the toughest test out there. But he'll get more credit for beating Hopkins I guess.

I do hope that either Bernard or Joe does fight Chad Dawson though.

I'm not a Dawson fan but it's clear this kid is the new young lion who has beaten Adamek, Johnson and Tarver is quick measure. I'd like to see him have the chance for a proper passing of the guard and to fight maybe the winner of Hopkins Calzaghe 2 if it happened.

But I also have to say, I didn't think the first Hopkins Calzaghe fight was controversial, I thought Joe was clearly pulling away at the end and won a close but completely fair decision win.

Exactly mate Daswon and Froch are nowhere near any ones top 10 p4p, whats the point it will just be another bull shit lacy Kessler esc reaction from tha haters. Dawson is still not regarded as a great fighter Froch what the fuck has he done?

Hmmmm, good point actually, we would get the "overhyped" or "never tested" thing all over again if Joe beat either. Unfortunately

Im guessing the americans on here will build up chad dawson through the roof and claim Calzaghe is ducking him if he doesnt fight him.

Fact remains joe would beat chad dawson with ease and wouldnt even need half the performance he put in last night to get the job done.

I voted NO because i genuinely believe there is easy money for JC to still be had over in the states for easy fights!!
    one dangerous horrible bloke

Dawson is most definitely knocking on the door for being a top 10 p4p star. Floyd Mayweather has called him the best p4p fighter in the world right now. He wins over Tomasz Adamek, who is now a cruiserweight champ, Glen Johnson and Antonio Tarver.

The ring rankings only go up to 10 but I gurantee if they did a top 20 Dawson is going to be in the top 15 right now.

He's certainly as highly regarded as Pavlik and Kessler, you don't beat successively guys like Johnson, Tarver and Adamek and not be one of the worlds best fighters.

Dawson is on the cusp of being a huge star.

I think he should retire BUT i think he is a bigger name now than he has ever been so the big money is here for the taking and his popularity and ticket draw is prob bigger than hattons...

and if it was me it would be too hard to walk away from all that.

so i see another big fight in America for the $$$

or a big fight in Wales for the fans and alittle less $$$

but if he goes on too long he might just age overnight and then all the "I TOLD YOU SO GUYS" will be stating he was never any good

So Retire Happy Joe, would be my advice

I'd go for Marciano's record if i were him..Dawson,Wright,Tarver and maybe Froch
he could get that all done in maybe 2 years and still pull it off i reckon.
He has always gone on about his legacy and he WILL fight at least one more then he'll be 3 away and earning silly money.
I'd love too see him go down as one of the greates to have ever graced the ring

I see the same thing in dawson as mayweather does. He may be untested but he has the tools to be great.
