Does the 46 year old Evander Holyfield stand a chance in hell of winning this fight?

I vote HELL NO because Evander should have retired a looooong time ago and even though Valuev is a piss poor fighter he can handle the more traditionally sized heavyweights with ease. Nico has a good jab, he can move fairly well and he uses his size very well.

Holyfield had better be a reborn fighter if he's to even survive 10-12 rounds with this guy.

If he does, it would be a major miracle

Evander never really had the one punch KO power at heavyweight to shock anyone but he was always consistent. He has taken too much punishment and is just isn't the same dynamic fighter he used to be...he used to use his workrate to overwhelm his opponents but it's just not there anymore.

I want it clear, I loathe both of these boxers.
Valuev because he sends people in to coma's
Holyfield because he might the dirtiest fighter in the modern era
10 years ago, Holyfield wins this
But it isnt ten years ago
And that big monster only has to land one good one,Holyfield doesnt have the legs to stay away from him anymore, and he never had the power to hurt him on one punch.

More importantly than if he can win is if anyone cares either way. It's a big world evander please find something else to do......even if you did win all you're doing is encouraging more over the hill past thier prime fighters to clog up the airwaves with more meaningless fights. Unless this is on FNF's i won't be watching.

I say yeah because I don't think Valuev's very good at all.

If Holyfield loses to him the only good grace is that it may once and for all silence his dreams to be Heavyweight Champion of the world.

If Holyfield loses to Valuev, then he better retire and stay retired and have all the major boxing organizations take his license away, something that should have been done a long time ago

I know it doesn't look good but I hope Holyfield can pull it off. I know it's a long shot but what the hell How could you not want Evander to win. I hope he wins and then retire's with the belt so he won't have to fight Ruiz a fourth time.

Holyfields last fight with Sultan was the first time I did not watch/purchase a Holyfield fight since 1990.This will be the next.I can not do it.At times maybe the die hard fan in us clings onto our favorites just as A former great clings to shadows of glory days gone by.Please Champ RETIRE !!!

It was hard enough watching him loose to Larry Donald, shut down by Byrd, flattened by Toney.I'm starting to wonder in a very dark way if I would prefer him to get plain Knocked out clean by the Cro-mag Valuev .Nevermind

Yeah but Holyfield was 46 years old then and his workrate hadn't diminished to what it is right now. And he hadn't just been beaten by Larry Donald, Chris Byrd, and TKO'd by James Toney!
