I didnt know who was going to win going in, and finding out Kessler's one paw was hurt, I really dont know who would win.
    Makes better drama.
Hopkins-Calzeghe you probably get a similar fight, with the decision going 30 different ways with thirty different judging crews
I hear what ya saying bud & from a fight fan perspective couldnt agree more, but JC has gone on record as saying he aint interested in re matches at this stage of his career .. so mabe we have to look outside that to the Dawsons & Froch's out there...

Yes, but maybe it is worth it for Calzaghe if he can get another huge payday: Boxing: Joe Calzaghe's huge earnings for Roy Jones Jr fight revealed!

With Dawson and Froch, I also dont know if I can stand another Frank Warren negotiation.
Kessler at least agree's pretty readily, and I find that fight way more interesting. Of the fights Joe had recently I thought that was the most intriguing, the other one's more or less went as I expected. I still dont know what a healthy Kessler would do with him.
Froch and Dawson will be a bigger fight to get the fight then the fight. Dawson's too dangerous and not well enough known, Froch Id bet Joe schools and wins on points.

...just retire, no more overhyped matches with old men. Joe's done what he's wanted, there no one he can beat that will gain him any more respect than he already has his quest to be a great as his wants has already passed, if anything go home and end it there give the hometown fans a last show.

Given how much money he made against RJJ, and assuming Froch beats Pascal, Calzaghe should fight the winner of one or two of the following matches: Taylor and Froch, Pavlik and Abraham, or Dawson and Erdei. Additionally, to reap the most coin, he should fight in Wales/London.

Of course, this is assuming he fights again. Retiring may also be his best option.
