For me it's a pcik em fight, and a potential classic no doubt.

I picked Hatton purely because I'd want him to win. I'm so happy Pac beat Oscar in the way he did because now if Hatton beats Pac he'll get the credit he deserves.

But has Pac ever been in with anyone that has the all round power that Hatton has? I don't think so. I'm discounting ODLH beacause he never once imposed his size or power on Pac.

Hatton surely has a strength advantage??

Dude, you should do what us Bits do. Book a flight the second the fight is announced and come over and see it. Whack it all on the credit card and turn the trip into a vacation like we do.

20 years from now would you rather remember watching the fight on PPV at home or with 100k screaming fans at Wembley Stadium in London?

I will still vote for Pacquiao. If he will be consistent with what he have started, he will definitely beat Hatton. However, we can't take for granted what Hatton is in store for him. Definitely, Hitman will give Pacman a really good HIT and I hope Pacman will not eat him alive.

Give us a good fight guys, we are counting on this one! Whoosh...

    I voted Hatton
    1. Hatton is the toughest fighter Pacman will face yet.
    2. Look at Pacmans opposition old Erik, old Barrera, Marquez did fine imo he won the one of the fights and tied the other,Diaz? De la hoya?!need i say more?
3.Hatton is the hardest puncher he will face, Marquez has rocked him before and so did Morales
4.Hatton is incredible body puncher, Morales and Marquez have hurt Pacmans body before stopped him cold on his feet while he was throwing punches.
    5. Pacmans gain of weight isnt on the clear yet, what I mean is yeh he looked great against De la hoya at 147 BUT De la hoya juzz stood there did not 1 thing. so Pacman went all out, Hatton wont be that easy.

Dont get me wrong The Pacman is beastly, I juzz think that Hatton is his biggest test yet.
    Hatton wins TKO.

Note: I am expecting alot of headbutts in this fight.Pacman has a BIG HEAD. He always headbutts people.

I have to go with Hatton, I thought Malignaggi would outbox him but as soon as he was hit he was discouraged. I say hatton wins, maybe too strong for Pac, but I know for a fact Manny could use his speed to outbox him. We will just have to see on the night, a good clash of styles this.

The Pacquiao that goes forward throwing strainght lefts and uppercut all night has a 50/50 chance againts Hatton.

But the Pacquiao that has the improved right hook, Better Head movement, side to side in and out. with the same power and stamina ?

yeah im crazy im picking Pacquiao

Did guys know that Pacquiao has that Right hook even before roach trains him? Get a video of the Barotillo fight. lots of right hook landed by pac in there in fact he kayoed Barotillo ( Filipino/Australian) with you guess it right the 'Right hook'. Pac just gets excited and forget to use it.

also note the uppercut on 3K Battery in my sig.

Well I think you all noticed that I picked PAC to win over the 6 division titliest Oscar Dela Hoya...

Hatton's resume, skills and physical size pales in comparison to that of Dela Hoya so it's obvious that I will be definitely picking PAC to win over Hatton...

Its a difficult one because there are a lot of variables at play. But I do think Hatton has a great chance at doing this. He's gonna be in Pac's face and he's gonna rock Manny harder than he's ever been hit before. Im interested to see if Pac can take Hattons best shot. But you could turn it around and talk about Pac being a southy and having the faster hands and so on.

I like to look at it from the Hatton side.

The main variable is how Pac will handle the weight, and the weight of the punches coming his way, something that wasn't answered in his previous two fights. If Hattons punches don't bother him that much then he'll win by UD, but he's naturally a much smaller man so that's ceratinly not a gimme.

I nailed my Prediction with Pac-DLH.(Check myboxingforum). Now with Pac- Hatton, I previously Predicted that Pac will just Dominate Hatton. That one still stands. I made this known when nobody still believe that this fight can Happen(Check ESB archives).

Sorry to tell but Hatton is no match against Pac. Hatton will try to get near to Pac so he can deliver his hooks but Pac will intercept him with Straight left & Right hooks all night long. Pac will keep him at bay by his jab alone. Hatton will probably land less than 30% of his punches compare to Pac which I think will land more than 45%-59%. Hatton's is no ellusive defender I can almost guarantee those numbers.

If Hatton last 10 rds with the brittle hands of Floyd expect hatton to last around 5 rds with Pac's relentless hands of stone..Pac KO rd5!!!

Pac groupies are so great to laugh at. Half of them post on nothing but Pac threads.

I'm going to have a great time the morning after Pac gets owned. And it will happen.

    RICKY HATTON FTW!!!

I doubt if PAC gets owned in this fight... Most probably it will be Hatton gets owned for the 2nd time... Just my personal prediction...

I've voted Pac. Before the ODLH fight i would have definitley gone with Hatton but what Pac did to Oscar (albeit an old shadow of the once great Oscar) has changed my mind, he was fantastic.

Frankly I'm tired of all these opportunists trying to make a buck (and advance their p4p status) by beating up on the little guys.

Granted, it backfired like hell in DLH's face (I still smile at the memory)... but Hatton's not as far removed from his prime as Oscar was.

Who's gonna want to fight Pac next? Pavlik? Give me a break, for crying out loud. Let's have fighters fighting within their OWN division.

Yeah, Pac looked fantastic at 147 against DLH... but Oscar was a shell of his former self. Don't let that fool anyone. The bull-rushing Hatton would wear Pac out and eventually knock him out. And sadly, people would want to elevate Hatton to # 1 p4p status, something he would most definitely NOT deserve for beating the undersized Manny.
