Students from the Benjamin Banneker Elementary School in New Orleans watched former middleweight king Bernard Hopkins train with renowned fitness guru Mackie Shilstone on Tuesday during a media workout. Following the workout, the kids joined Hopkins for a lunch mixed in with inspirational messages from the living legend. "I selected New Orleans as a training camp to help support the community and people who are recovering from their losses," said Hopkins. "After what these kids have been through with Hurricane Katrina, I'm sure I can learn a few lessons about stamina and perseverance from them too." Hopkins is preparing for his "FIGHT TO THE FINISH" showdown against light heavyweight champion Antonio Tarver on June 10, 2006.
