If you can still remember ICB, we almost have the same scorecard when you watched it again except for the 11th round where you give it to Marquez. I brought up the issue because you were saying that you're so sure that Marquez won it when you yourself is not so sure about who won that fight (based on your other posts).
I say, people should stop claiming that Marquez convincingly won the second fight coz nobody here is so sure about it. The judges scored it for PAcquaio and let's accept that.... Anyway, as you all are saying it was very difficult to score the fight.
I give the fight to Pacquaio for giving the harder shots. The judges must have seen it that way.![]()

Me too:same score...ahhkemm 113/112 ;-)
So thats a 10-4 from me over and out.
Just sh!tting you over the 10/6 round.shame about that one who would have given him a hope at that stage eh?
It would of been a more distinict win without the horror round ...anyway.
Shame we could'nt add points to Marquez for comming back that strong and smart he sure deserved them.

base on my experience... watching fights on T.V. is totally different from watching it from ring side.. When you are at ring side, you can hear a jab or a punch landed while on T.V. its hard to determine if a jab or punch landed in full or slap. i assume All your scores are base on what you see on T.V... So theres a benefit of a doubt..
we all have our opinion so lets just look at the facts.
pac won the second fight via sd. FACT!
the first fight was a draw, however the judge admitted he should of scored the first one 10-6 for pac but thought he couldn't. Therefor technically pac won the first fight as well. FACT!
Sorry to say guysbut facts are facts and fact is pac won both fights

No matter what any of us say. FACT!![]()
yes pacquiao won..BOTH FIGHTS. FACT!![]()
However close it was, Pacquiao won both fights, being the first fight having a scoring guffaw with one of the judges.
Both fights being close as it was needed something extra from either one of the protagonist's to get the "W". An extra like, putting the other guy's butt on the canvas, which JMM failed to show, and Pacquiao, continuedly show.
The second fight was a JMM improvement, as his skill increased at denying Pacquiao in decking him more, to inevitably knock him out.
That is it though. No more, no less. If it wasn't, then Marquez should have killed himself to try and finish Pac in the 2nd fight in the 8th rd, when he had Pacquiao, blinded with a huge gash, was at his mercy.
When did i say i was so sure JMM won ? all i said i've watched it multiple times and i've had the same scorecard. I just liked JMM in both fights. I never said he won convincingly so i don't really see your point.
Since rewatching the fight when have i ever said it was a robbery ? or Manny Pacquiao didn't deserve to win ? i've said they were very close fights. But i personally had JMM winning both so whats the problem ?
genuine concensous over both fights is 50/50 for either fighter.
Kind of a shame the chance of a dream 3rd fight seem to be getting narrower and narrower with every passing day![]()
one dangerous horrible bloke

It's hard to tell. Yeah Pac has improved by leaps and bounds. He may had a hard time to make 130 the last time..But you just can't underestimate a Juan Manuel Marquez. The guy has an incredible heart so as Pac. and his ability to recover from a hard punch is just phenomenal.
An empty can is always noisy.
Yea Im also a big fan of jmm believe it or not. JMM is the only guy that withstand pacs onslaught and if thats more then enough to make me amaze at how amazing he is as well.
Eric lll no chance.
Mab ll no chance.
Diaz no chance.
Dela hoya no chance.
but JMM in like 3 years is the only guy that gives pac a challenge. My current favorite rivalry for sure.
Look up an old Ring magazine. The one previewing Marquez-Pacquiao 2. Pac considers the first fight more of an embarrassment than anything else. And rightly so. Just look at it from his eyes. You floor a fighter not once. Not twice. But three times in one round. You can't finish him. He gets himself back into the fight. To make it worse he takes control of the fight and at times dominates. He seems to solve your style. The big punches your were landing so easily are not there no more. What looked like an easy night turns into a life and death struggle. You go into the 12th round not cruising to a win but fighting your heart out not to lose the fight. Instead of an easy win. You get a draw. Many feel you should of got the loss. Your shell shocked. Your excuse? You wore the wrong socks. Pac should be embarrass. I give him credit for admitting it.
You can consider the first fight a win for Pac when Pac himself doesn't consider it a win. FACT
