I think the Klitschko's get hated on because the fans of the heavyweight division are in a hangover stage. Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson, etc are retired or aren't anywhere near what they used to be and people want to live in the past instead of respecting what we have right now.

People mainly don't like Wlad because he fights in an unexciting manner which makes for boring fights.

Heavyweights are about knock outs. It's the reason there's LESS interest in the smaller weight-classes. KO's equal excitement. That's why the non-hardcore fan watches. Whether or not they're unappreciative of the skill on offer is basically irrelevant. The MAJORITY of people watch boxing to be entertained.

A guy with seemingly HUGE athletic size advantages over his opponents, pitter pattering around, playing safe does not equal entertainment. So people don't watch. Simple as.

I do look at it in a different way now. I watched Wlad fight over the weekend with my wife. She says "man he's boring" I said "who Wlad" "no the other guy Rahman". It comes to mind how is Wlad boring because he doesn't go balls to the wall and just get into a firefight with the other. Look at his latest fight's he stands right in front of you and jabs you to death then shoots righthand's and left hooks when he's ready and put's you away.

Vitali on the otherhand is just a different kind of animal does basically the same thing stands in front shoots the jab but doesn't wait with the right hand and then he rough's you up on top of that.

To me these two a very underated and I would throw them in already with any of the all-time great's.

Why are you afraid of that why trade one chinny champ for another....and one with NO boxing skill at that, just because he throws a bunch of power punches. Hey if you want to watch a lack of technical skill on display I suggest the local toughman competitions
I am sure you will agree that it would be better for Haye fight other fighters to build up his profile and interest before fighting the Klit brothers. Haye has got very good skills but fought like a desperate fighter against Monte and that spells trouble for him if he is not composed.

    Lets start with Vitali .
    1. Good power punchers.
    2. Gets hit but has a TEAK chin.
    3. Cuts.
    4. Lost twice on injury , and is generally exciting.

    Wlad.
    1. Excellent speed and power.
    2. Vulnerable chin.
    3. Been in some up and downers.
    4. Always in top shape.

These two are not your usual fat boring HW'S . They are both intelligent , decent blokes to. So its a mystery to me why some of you guys don't like them.
I for one think both are exciting and good to watch.
    COMMENTS PLEASE ?
People thought the same things about Lennox Lewis when he was still fighting. Now sine he retired, alot of people say he is a respected GOAT. Maybe the same can be said about these two when they eventually retire.

Both of the Klitschkos are class acts in and out of the ring and they typically produce serious KOs. I think either one would give any of the past heavyweights a good run for their money. People say Wlad is chinny but I disagree, to me he only was only legitimately KO'd one time and that was by Sanders and it was an off night, he got caught and panic'ed. If they replayed that fight now the Sanders that KO'ed W. (not the Sanders of today) would be doomed.

For God's sake they are 100 times better than Maskaev, Tony, Ruiz, Byrd.

I agree they dont go in swinging for the fences like Tyson, but they are not the heavy weight version of Winky Wright either.

They can't say the same about Wladimir.. At least Lennox avenged the defeats he suffered. Wlad didn't seem too eager to get in the ring again with Purrity or Sanders. Vitali was, and still is, dying to try and reverse his loss against Lennox!

Vitali's heart is so much bigger than his over-achieving little brother (it must sicken him to see his success). Wlad is stuck in the same 'safety first' pattern that caused Lennox to attract so much criticism mid career and he shows no signs of wanting to prove the critics that they are wrong. Lewis really proved his heart after the Michael Grant fight and never let it slip. Thats why he's now seen (with hindsight) as the absolute God of recent H-Weight boxing!Wlad still seemed terrified of getting his whiskers tested against Rahman who looked ready for the taking in round two!

David Haye has a real shot against Wlad but will get stopped brutally by Vitali.. Pity Vitali took 4 years out to fail at politics. If he'd carried on there would be no bloody Valuev to bore us stupid! His cherry would have been popped as soon as Iron Fist landed one!

David Haye needs 3-5 more fights before stepping in with Wlad or Vitali. Vitali has only been HURT twice Lennox Lewis and Corrie Sanders...other than those two he has walked through everyone else (bar the Byrd fight where he injured his shoulder). I don't see David Haye having power similar to Lewis or Sanders AND I don't think he has the means of landing meaningful power punches on the much taller Klitschko brothers.

Sam Peter was a wild thrower and fought desperately vs a couple other guys....once he got in with the Klitschko's he threw hard a couple rounds and then was getting picked off so bad he just quit fighting back

My guess is that Haye is hoping that Vitali's chin has suddenly become weak after 4 years off. I am also sure that he wants Vitali to be reckless and be angry, when in fact he will be more focused and professional. If Haye pulls it off then it will be the biggest shock since Lewis v Rahman.

.....it doesn't matter what people say about these two. As long as they are winning that the main thing. They aren't at all to blame for thier lack of comepetition. There are two guys sitting over there with belts and there are a ton of others talking with nothing around thier waist. The belts trump talk and desire. I'm no more a fan of thiers than any other boxer but they have managed to beat those put in front of them, there are a whole lot of others who haven't.

Agreed, I finally saw the video of Haye catching Wlad at the airport and for all Haye's trash talk, Wlad was the one who looked better in that video. He didn't lose his cool and just had an intelligent answer for Haye at every step..I thought he came off wittier than Haye as well

    'ahh Mr Haye!'
'How much do you weigh this morning?'
'Is that heavy enough for you?'
'Listen, in the heavyweight division you are nothing'
'There is a big queue of people who are waiting for a shot..get to the back, get in the ring and just do your job'

Haye just seemed to be talking for talkings sake. Good stuff from Wlad, very classy.

Been watching more Wlad and Vitali fights recently. Wlad obviously fights more conservatively but Vitali is an animal! Both have their strengths..I do feel, perhaps, that Lewis would have eaten Wlad up though. As would some of the other great heavyweights..the ones with superior skill anyway e.g Ali, Holmes (I think these 2 beat Vitali also, although the sheer size would pose a problem). So I do have a slight problem putting their names up there with these guys but they will be remembered as the dominant heavyweights of this era.
