    Allmost no shot at all
First off,we're talking about a fighter who had his license pulled a few years ago because of diminishing skills.
Second off, like it or not,Holyfield relies on his head buts,I doubt he could even get his head up there, and even if he did, like you could hurt that cranium.
Thirdly, all Valuev has to do is hit you once, and you stay hit
I have absolutely no idea why this fight is even happening

No his Chemist Evan Fields has

Holyfield will be like a small punch bag, he hasnt got the legs or speed to mve around and offload combinations and he deffinitly hasnt got the stamina to outwork Valuev who for such a massive man can work very well.

Holyfield is gonna look ridiculous and I look forward to seeing him banged around the ring like a rag doll

Hes a dirty fighter who took HGH and other things to become a heavy and is a walking contradiction, quoting the bible while having 11 iligitimate kids from 7 mothers

I know what Mike did to his ear was wrong and he may well have been looking for a way out but I still laugh when I see Evander jumping around holding his ear

He was a good fighter (with the help of illegal substances) but now hes just a joke.

Hes not a big strong man like Foreman that can take punishment without budging and have a threat of a ko punch, hes too small, too slow and too tired to be successfull at all, hes very small, his waist is only 32"!!
He's obviously more of an Old Testament man

Do you think that someone of Valuevs stature is a normal 35 year old athlete in terms of agility, reflexes, speed, etc? Because he only has 1 loss on paper, does he really only have one loss? Hasnt he struggled with fighters in the past, to par with an old Holyfield or even lesser? And does Holyfield need to fight like he did 15 years ago to beat Valuev? Perhaps it is Valuev who is the older fighter tommorrow. Yes Evander is past it, yes hes been in too many wars, but will any of that be relevant tommorow? I dont think it will.

Why dont you have a cheeky bet on Holyfield to win.I've seen him at 5/1 at the bookmakers!Thats pretty decents odds that considering Holyfeid has it against him in this fight.I wish Evander all the best in the fight, but if he loses he honestly needs to retire for good. He's getting £500,000 for this fight so he should just retire and walk away from fighting any longer before he gets hurt!!

nor did he chomp off a dude's ear, try to break another guys arm, ko a ref, start out explosive and almost stops a journeyman in the opening round only to be stopped 3 rounds later, and then dare to go back on PPV against another journeyman to fight a terrible fight and quit on his stool like a pathetic begger who didn't even bother making an effort to win.

all that bein said Holyfield looks like a saint in boxing terms compared to Tyson
their personal lives out of the ring, has nothing to do with what they do on their own time

same reason why i don't bring up the subject of Holy's illegitamite children, nor Tyson's rape convictions, or countless assault charges, and his recent drug arrest

    Pfffffff!!!!

Gone are the days when Mike Tyson could put 30 million in your back pocket eh

Im not sore about Holyfield beating Mike, I just find Holyfield ridiculous for his prayers and Bible verses on his shorts when he blatantly contradicts himself by cheating with chemicals and fighting dirty and all his offspring.

Im also gutted that Mike didnt give himself the best chance in those fights, Holyfield fought out of skin whereas Mike was well below his best.

Never mind, Valuev is gonna thump him through the canvas like a fence post

Im gonna love seeing him try to headbut and wrestle in this

so what would that make "Michellan Tire Man" Tyson? he's broke and pimping out his name, doing half assed exhibitions on PPV and against crap wearing inflatable gloves, wouldn't be shocked at all if Tyson ended up fighting on Celebrity boxing, or volunteering to make a live action movie of Punch Out!

Holyfield butts the heck out of Mike Tyson, while the referee (Mills Lane ?)ensures that the "Real Deal" deliver the deal, "Butt Right".

Ha ha, Mike was looking to carry on fighting whereas Holyfield was skipping rope to the ref

Holyfield is just awfull, he got dropped by Ruiz, beaten by Ruiz Larry Donald and James Toney ran rings around him, now hes broke and is trying his hardest to get some more brain damage.

Even Ibragimov looked like sugar Ray against him, at least Mike made no bones he was just fighting for cash, whereas Holyfield is seriously deluded in thinking hes actually any good

If Mike were fighting this weekend he would be getting a hell of alot more than a measly half a million

OK first off about HGH as he ever been caught using this. I am not denying but it is really not that hard to fail drug test hell you use drugs you get caught pure an simple. He has been tested many times and surprised drug tested which most people don't here about. I don't think there was any boxer today who has been surprised drug tested simply because his weight went from 190 to 206 against Tillis in about six months I believe it was. I am not saying he didn't take it but where is the evidence ? We here talk about BALCO but we are giving nothing just names.

Another thing can not take punishment without throughing a KO punch. I guess Bert Cooper wasn't a give an take battle with Holyfield going down looking god awful then coming back and putting his man away. Or how about the Bowe III fight. Where Evander is barely even moving with his hands around his waist then bam drops Bowe with a left hook. Granted it wasn't a KO punch but it was punch that came from no where and put him down and almost out. If he wasn't exhausted he would easily disposed of Bowe that round.

Win or lose tommorow night. I give Holyfield all the credit in the world coming up from his natural weight at 190 and challenging the likes of guy's who weighed upward 250 and 260 lbs. I would give him a great shot at the all time greatest heavyweight's of our history in his prime. If people can 't see what a talent this man had in his youth then I consider you know very little about this great sport. I just hope he can pull something from his old days and shock the world by beating this mediocre bohemoth of a heavyweight champion.

This is the very first time I have ever doubted Evander, thought that he would not win a fight since his pro debut........head bowed and sorry to say.
You may very well be right. I picked Pavlik to beat Hopkins, Oscar to beat Pac, Jones to beat Calzaghe so I am 0-3 in my recent predictions but this one is not so much a prediction, as it is a last flicker of hope for the Real Deal. Holyfield is like a real life Rocky. Logic has never really applied to his career when you think about it. When he left the cruiserweight division, how many people thought they were looking at a future 4 time heavyweight champion, or be fighting for a world title at 45, and now 46? Then again, he is only human and as you get older gravity does take effect and cells start to break down. Some things apply to all of us and the clock always does run out of time eventually.
Oh so basically youve just jynxed Holyfield

Weve seen bigger upsets. For Evander to win he has to use that wealth of experience and possibly the headbutts that have helped him vs Foreman , Lewis and Tyson . With a bit of luck he will be a 5 time champ tonight
Well they say things happen in threes, so maybe ill start calling fights correctly. I admit I tend to go for the live underdog over the favorite fighter for sentimental reasons but I wont make a prediction unless I truly believe they will win. The heavyweight division in particular is full of upsets on a regular basis and Yeah this fight could go as expected, but it could be historic.

I like how people make exuses for Tyson losing but did you know Holyfeild was older and been through more wars and had a heart condtion since the Moore fight were the doctors said he should never fight again. Yet he goes on to make Tyson his bitch and capture the title again Holyfeild had something Tyson never had which is why he did so much better in the world of boxing you want to know what Holyfeild had Holyfeild had balls somthing Tyson never seem to show and that why Holyfeild managed to win the fights that people never thought he could and tell you i respect that man i grow up watching him my first fight i ever saw was when Holyfeild beat Tyson and i am a huge fan of his and hope he can turn back the clock and show everyone why he is one of the best to ever step into the ring and why he is one of the greats in the heavyweight divsion.

I dont bet on fighters I like cause when I do they always seem to lose. Even if their the favorite to win. Ill stay away from this one, Ive already jinxed Holyfield enough by making this thread.

You are seriously deluded if you think this version of Evan fields is capable of anything.

He was left standing still by a mediocre Ibragimov a year ago, Ibragimov is similar sized to Holyfield and gets hurt, that was Evanders best chance at a title but now hes fighting a genuine giant of a man who can actually box and fight at a pace.

Unless Evander is carrying an elephant gun in to the ring with him, I see this as totally pointless.

Im not denying he was a good fighter, in fact I dont see all the fuss about the first Lewis fight, Lewis was very reluctant and as for the second, it should have been an outcry the other way but he has done things that I find annoying.

One of them was to make a logo out of his name after the first Tyson fight, like Cotto and Hatton have done, that just makes them look up their own ass, all his praying and bringing god and jesus in to everything.
Im sure both god and his nipper are chuffed to little bits that Evan Fields has cheated his way to the top.

Also as someone who appreciates the fact that Mike Tyson WAS something special, for someone like Holyfield who took growth hormone while he worked out with lee haney to say that Tyson takes steroids really bugs me, you only have to look at pictures of a very young Tyson to see hes a freak, at 13 he was 5,8" 200 pounds and solid, then theres the clip of him at the olympic tryouts crying on teddy atlas shoulder before a bout, he was only 16 then!! Hes always been massive.

Also, Holyfield brags how he made Tyson back down over a game of pool, Mike would have been 17 and Holyfiled is 5 years older, so a 22 year old manning up to a 17 year old, awesome!!
